The white Meizu 16s that leaked yesterday has appeared on TENAA in black along with a few of its specifications.
It is listed on TENAA with model number M971Q, and, the images that are listed on the certifying authority's website reveal its design which is in line with previous leaks.
On the front, the smartphone has a notch-less display with the selfie camera residing above it on the right. At the back, it has a dual camera setup positioned vertically in the left corner. Below these cameras is what seems like a laser AF sensor which is surrounded by an LED flash ring.
TENAA also reveals that the Meizu 16s will come with a 3,540 mAh battery along with a screen that measures 6.2-inch diagonally, but other than that it doesn't say much.
That said, the Meizu 16s recently appeared on AnTuTu, confirming Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB RAM, and Android Pie. Other specs revealed by this benchmark listing include 128GB storage and a screen having a resolution of 2232 x 1080 pixels.
The most serious questions for me is: i) will there be an international version? ii) will there be NFC? iii) will there be obvious improvements in camera quality? Other than these points, I think this phone is very good.
Shame to Meizu, that they still not figure out, their best selling phones is phones that have capable battery...
