Deep, you are wrong a bit.
At least A925 AGPS is just for SPEED UP the process of getting initial fix.
It means you get ready much faster with AGPS network support. If network operator do not support AGPS, then the mobile make calculations by himself, but it is slower and sometimes it takes minute or two, or even half hour to be ready.
Normal GPS receivers are ready much faster.
>Soma asked the difference between a1010's gps and the traditional ones: a1010 has so-called AGPS (Assisted GPS) which send the data to a server which calculates the coordinates and give them back to the phone. So it needs cellular network to work. Tranditional GPSes do these calculations alone.
Actually the main difference between the A1000 and the A1010 is the addition of WiFi. Some instant messenger software is supposed to be included however which service/protocol will be used is still unknown. VoIP support has been hinted, possibly using Skype.
i ve texted ur phone is very ok. but my eim of wrighting ur company is that i want ur company to inprove in ur phone memory.

To Friend.I think the major difference between a1010 and a1000 is a better joystick and also the ability to edit office documents(a1000 can just view them)... btw, can anyone tell me whether there is a need to buy any additional accessories so that you can to use the Picsel Document Viewer?
Hi,Can anyone explain me what's a-gps?Does it work like the traditional gps? Thanks
coments like that is just childish,a925 to a1010 is mutch more than a phone, call it hand hold computer instead, then you have the perfect worktool.
I'm waiting for it to be released. So far, I've used Motorola phones for 13 yrs, I've never had any complaints. Motorola gives me what I wanted and it works just fine! I'm using an A760, the memory is small, but it's ok. I've learned to adapt. But this baby A1010, it'll be the best! Yeah!
can u please tell me if the motorola a1010 will be coming out in the uk and if so will it be available on the 3g network.,thank you
To Johnson. I'm not sure this phone will release or not,but I know the phone you said you see in your country is motorola A1000,look familiar with this phone A1010.The major differece A1000 camera is 1.3MP, A1010 is 2 MP.Have a nice day.
I saw people use this phone in my country!!!!
why it's still written up there coming soon??
From Motorola themeselves:
This product has been offically killed
It was moved off the roadmap about 9 months ago
It will not be released internationally
Okay from what I can gather:
- The phone seems not to be out yet
- I will post when I found out when it will be avalible
-No wifi, it will use bluetooth (seems no internet - headset/ear piece only)
-U can edit excell/word files(NOT Confirmed!)
I have read articles saying different things.
-GSM/GPRS device (so '3' network)
-Comes with 2.0mp Camera
-plays audio (and video)
-Uses TransFlash cards
-It allows u to edit Word/Excell docs
-It is smaller than the a1000
I think when this phone came with hand free speaker phone, it's will be the best phone of the others PDA phone, Ihope will be successor in the market
If this phone comes with WiFi then it becomes the greatest phone ever made...
