Motorola has been teasing the launch of a thin smartphone in India for the past few days, which we now know is the Motorola Edge 70, courtesy of Indian e-commerce platform Flipkart.

Flipkart has set up a promo page for the Edge 70 on its website, stating the smartphone is "coming soon" without revealing its launch date. However, if rumors are to be believed, the Edge 70 will debut in India around December 15 for under INR35,000.

Moreover, the Edge 70 is also rumored to pack a bigger battery in India while retaining its 5.99 mm profile. The global model comes with a 4,800 mAh Si/C battery under the hood.

Other specs of the global Motorola Edge 70 include the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, Android 16, and a 6.7" 1,220p 120Hz P-OLED display. The smartphone supports 68W charging and features three 50MP cameras - a primary, an ultrawide, and a selfie.
