Sorry it still won't help your sales Sammy, your time has come and now it's gone, Chinese android manufactures are going to eat your lunch and some. Your high-end phones can't compete against the iPhone, just look at the sales of iPhone 6 and 6+. Doesn't matter what you do it's over, do something revolutionary and stop copying people. Thank you

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2015glass back panel + non-removable battery = fail. Samsung should learn from Sony's mistake ... moreYeah, cause nobody bought the Z1, or Z1 compact, or Z2 or the Z3 and Z3 compact with their glass backs and non removable battery. Except they did. So don't be ridiculous.

Charging is sooo 2000s, having an instant 100% waiting for you charged on the side spoils you so much that you actually pity the people to always be remind to put the phone for charging every day, or that fact that they care sooo much for battery life (battery is solved by simply having a 2nd battery with you...

Changing the material will only improve it a little! It's the phone's basic design which needs to be changed!

Nothing wrong with a glass back and non-removeable battery. I used to have an old iPhone 4, and the battery was just as great when I sold it 2 years later as on day 1. The glass front and back also did not have any scratches even with me using it every day and storing it in my pants pocket without a case. Of course if you are rough with your phone, there's a higher chance of it getting damaged.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2015I do agree. It is a deal breaker! I will not buy such a phone, for sure. I had to replace t... moreI agree Samsung have lost the plot

First they bring out the Alpha (premium build) to challenge the iPhone and it does, but instead of sticking to "Samsung core" Samung remove memory expansion are you kidding me

So a supposed flagship is limited to 32GB, so why bother having 2160 video?

IDK if the alpha actually sells I would not buy one.

Then Samsung adds more mistakes in the "A" range
A3, A5, A7, all now have memory expansion BUT now NON removable batteries

Samsung jumped on John Chen from Blackberry comments when he called Apple iphones "wall huggers" for having NON removable batteries

What is going on at Samsung ?

The LG G2 was essentially an LG 'iPhone',

The difference between the LG G2 & LG G3, the LG G3 adds memory expansion and removable battery upgrades to QHD display result MONSTER sales, and by monster the LG G3 out sold the S5 in Korea by 3 over the same period measured both meassured from launch

The amount of times a simple battery pull has fixed a problem 1 minute reboot, now service engineer is needed.
