Ultimately any company that reports profits as high as Apple is going to get accused of ripping off consumers according to most of the dolts here because if they're profiting so much it means they could in fact sell their product for less. That's not how business works. It's about supply and demand. It's pretty obvious most users here haven't operated or even studied business in school.

But tell me about ... moreI think Android OEMs only supports the device with latest updates for 2 years. It depends actually if it's flagship, midranger, etc. Apple supports longer. Even their older devices for so many years. Imagine. iPhone 4 still getting updates? *meh* I wanna try iOS :

A, 13 Jul 2015Funny, a story like this should make people wonder how that is possible...to sell a cheap phon... moreill say u are wrong my friend ..that is correct most of the phones even high end are made under 200 us price tag..but if u ask me why apple charges way expensive first is because of the brand ..like in any other product u can purchase..second their devices looks and feel premium not plastic made like other expesive high end devices for example samsung wich loves to fool people with plastic ....updates and support..everybody loves updates because these ones make ur old phone feel in somehow like new..after getting a few features... best example is the iphone 4s it was manufactured years ago and still will get a taste of ios 9.....android is a good plattform but is getting laggy again... best one for me kit kat because was the only one capable to run on 512 ram devices wich is perfect...lolipop hardly can run in 1gb devices...but should be related to performance ..surely the migration from dalvik to art i guess..any way the support and slow updates are android downsides...there are good phones too but paying for 1 year updates support and then have to update phone wih custome roms by my self is not worth the price....

Unless you are the business itself. This means that they are "ripping" people off more than other companies. You gain nothing as a consumer from a high profit. Imagine if Apple just raised the price of the iPhone by $1000? Their profit would be ridiculously high! But would you keep saying they are awesome for having such a high yield from their product? When will consumers learn how the system works?
