Ahh do I smell a comeback? HTC isn't down for the count yet! And they were the first to come out with a phone that sported the unibody aluminum metal design so Apple blatantly copied Android for once.

What a joke people thinking helio x20 is good, it's rubbish, 8 a53 cores and only 2 a72 cores, what a load of tripe. Forget about benchmarks, both the s810 and 820 trounce this with their powerful gpu's. HTC are definitely finished as a manufacturer, just a joke what rubbish their releasing. Sony will always be ahead, can't wait for all the z5 family to be fully released with the 810 and early next year the Z5 Ultra with the s820, that's what you call premium.

AnonD-191847, 11 Sep 2015The M9 had 3 major problems: perfomance was underwhelming, camera was bad and no fingerprint s... moreI read a camera phone test last night and it had phones like iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, some Sony Z-model, Nexus 6, Huawei P8 and Samsung GS6 against the One M9. The M9 didn't do well except for a few situations. No idea how they can repeat the same mistake over and over again. M8 also had a terrible camera, even though all 'HTCians' say the straight opposite. Let's hope this new flagship finally has a great camera as well... It's their biggest problem and needs to be fixed soon.

the problem is that almost all asian phone makers try to make their phones competitive vs apple by using extra high specs,completely unneccessary for smooth performance of their phones. they try to compensate in this way for a lack of originality,lack of own operating system and applications. simple.

If the Xperia Z5 camera is great and the performance and doesn't have overheating/performance issues, I might buy that. I was considering the Moto X Style but here in Canada they only carry the X Play and there are no plans to bring the Style/Pure to Canada.

AnonD-323240, 10 Sep 2015why gsmarena still think the butterfly 3 its not released yet?The third of the Butterfly in Japan was just called the "J Butterfly" as with the previous one. I have doubts but there is a slim possibility the Butterfly 3 being announced in Taiwan and the rest of Asia might actually be different from the J Butterfly. It would be too dumb for HTC to release another M9-spec product with slight differences at this point, especially because the E9+ and ME fill that niche of a plastic phone with flagship specs. The Butterfly 2 last year was basically an E8 with dual camera and waterproofing at nearly double the price...
