AnonD-75819, 24 Sep 2015your windows phone do not have voice recorder (features phones have it) ..heard about hdr??? ... moreyeah wp are the worst when it comes in features, its limited to basics. i like the notification drawer of android, you get a peek at notifications like whatsapp images msg without openeing the app, wp just shows an icon(talking about settings?). but wp way smoother than android for sure. but android is also becoming smooth.

Hopefully no on-screen buttons. 5.7" is already smaller than 1520 and the on-screen buttons will take out another 0.5" of screen making this 5.2" vs 1520's 6"

i see no iris scanner. ms made wp are not of metal right? i dont remember of any ms device made of metal, have a nokia l925 its beautiful device but heck it gets heated up very badly because of metal unibody. and still waiting for windows 10.

Its weird when you pay thrice the money and only get a better camera and bigger screen.

I would like to give these a try and see it for myself.Try baconreader, there are few more apps I don't remember name as I don't have a windows phone right now. I sold it, and lower end windows phone are very good and bang for money but never find a reason to Upgrade a windows phone as it does not hang irrespective of what phone you use and does not give anything different either.

I have a 640XL and for anything other than messaging and calling it is dead slow. it takes too long to do even the most basic tasks. A moto G wich has similar specs is much much faster. Oh and dont even try windows 10 it just grinds to a standtill....

Windows phone are good for playing few games without hiccups, but it does not make them any different. I observed windows phone are very slow in switching between apps with 1 gb RAM, sometimes they take even 2 minutes just to switch between apps. Most of the apps make phone heat even in 5 mint, I tried few reddit apps they make phone crazy. Its yes there user interface is smooth and few games work fine but it does not make them best in smartphone market.

But since the mediocre phone owner usually uses an Android phone and these phones need incredible amounts of processing power, RAM and batteries to be usable, these mediocre people usually care about specs very much. That's why M$ bumped up the specs: so that it can target the masses, and not just technologically literate people and power users that care about productivity and require reliability.
