Low quality soldering and capacitor giving our after repeated heat-cycle from SoC.
Arix, 05 Aug 2016Turn GPS completely off, and then you'll get 4g back!I can confirm this; I always have GPS off if I don't need it and 4G always on. I just put GPS on and 4G stopped working. GPS off and 4G came back. Finland.
What do I think is causing it? Someone forgot to decouple the dilithium matrix?
NSA running a worm to take advantage of exploit?
Aliens?
There's a problem with LTE while using GPS at the same time.
Atleast somebody is acknowledging the problem.
Sounds like bad code in the radio firmware.

ARIF, 05 Aug 2016my nexus 6 destroy for this problerm...
I invest my earniny money in nexus 6....
this probl... moreI don't know how to boot directly to bootloader on N6, but it's probably similar to most, so try volume up + power, or volume up + volume down + power. If those don't do it, hold volume down + power, boot into recovery, then choose "reboot to bootloader", then connect to PC or Mac with adb & fastboot installed and enter the following:
fastboot devices
(If you see a device recognized, you're good)
Then type:
fastboot oem unlock
(It will prompt you on your N6, then will unlock the bootloader, and wipe /data)
If it doesn't reboot automatically, type:
fastboot reboot
FIRST BOOT WILL TAKE 5 MINUTES OR SO, BE PATIENT!!
If that doesn't work, at least it'll be unlocked. If you wanna avoid this and go an even easier route, download the Shamu factory images from Google, unzip the package, then go into the folder you unzipped and unzip the second package, boot to fastboot using the above steps, then use type (each line is a different command, execute in order):
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase data
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase recovery
Also, there may be a new bootloader image in the Google factory package, if so, flash it using: fastboot flash bootloader (file location without parentheses)
Then use the fastboot 'flash-all' script included in the downloaded Google factory image package, or alternatively, flash each individually with:
fastboot flash boot (file location without parentheses)
fastboot flash system (file location without parentheses)
fastboot flash data (file location without parentheses)
fastboot flash recovery (file location without parentheses)
fastboot flash cache (file location without parentheses)
Personally, I would just flash a custom recovery and flash CM13, AICP, SlimROM, ir any other reputable custom ROM (check XDA for current builds and reviews or said builds' stability). I'm not gonna type out those directions, but head over to XDA for n00b friendly instructions.

PS - I don't own a Nexu 6, but I own a Nexus 9 and a Nexus 7, and I'm not sure if the Nexus 6 has a vendor partition or not, so if it has another petition that I am leaving out, just use the above fastboot commands to erase that individual partition and then flash that particular image.
