I mean 1,5 days doesn't help much, you still better charge every night and there are phones like HTC desire HD that do not last even a day.

After all, are we not paying the same cost for nokia phones, it's not that nokia is giving these phones for free that we must praise them despite their faults. I expect similar performance, in fact I expect better performance from nokia with respect to it's competition, but sadly I have been let down by nokia, and will never buy a nokia phone again after having bought 5800.

What kind of documents are you using.... N8 leaves around 100 MB free ram with any documents I can find. Unlike for example Android, E7 can also use virtual RAM which is a great feature.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2010It will be just like another n900 let down by a poor battery! You can get a full day out of N900. Pretty much the same as most top of the line smartphones. It is also lot more easier to save battery since everything is so easy to tweak.

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2010Imagine the stupidity of nokia to put the same battery in nokia e5 and e7, don't they realize ... moreEven with this battery I'm pretty sure E7 will run two days on normal use. Also the battery saving mode is just amazing at least on N8. It would be interesting to see some tests on that. On N8 it seems to double the battery life.

495 euro for Nokia E7 with not powerful procesor, with no DivX, with no Xenon flash too expensive!

Right now Nokia phones (except N900) has low RAM.
The Symbian OS may not eat as much RAM as other OS but RAM is still crucial for running heavy applications and more importantly... how smooth the OS and BROWSING can be.

Imagine the stupidity of nokia to put the same battery in nokia e5 and e7, don't they realize that the 4 inch screen will consume more power, well to get at least some mobility I would chose e5 any day if I was in the unfortunate position to make this decision between these two crap low ram phones.

E7 is NOT a high specs business-phone at all.
