that didn't catch fire, and two (Exynos and Snapdragon Note 7), in which ~0.01% did. Even in those two cases, the reports seems to suggest bad management forcing bad engineering to be the main reason, rather than actually bad technology. I think they learned their lesson.

It's a lot more impressive than the S8/S8+ in my experience with the camera.
And there's no such thing as 'horrible' camera. All are great, but oftentimes some don't live up their expectations. That's how I can describe the XZ Premium's camera in low light ALONE.
Let the 19mp resolution resolve much more details in daylight.

S8/S8+ are the most fragile phones ever tested, and the XZ Premium survived the bend test easily with a plastic frame.

The xz series isn't translating to remarkable real world sales and usage. Deal with it.

Lol people keep saying
"Samsung will die if they do or dont do....etc etc"
Lets face it, Samsung is the world's number 1 smartphone brand.
Even S8/8+ has around 700k+ pre-orders in the first week of launch in South Korea alone.
Your opinion does not and will not matter in their success.
I bet Note 8 will sells for million of units too in the first months of sales.
And just like year 2015 and 2016 several types of Samsung phone usually outsell the whole Sony smartphone sales.

You know the ONLY flaw of the XZ Premium? The bezel size.
And it is going to get shred off with the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, making it the perfect flagship phone of 2017 that the Note 8 will doubtly match.
