Now they should work with Jolla to improve the Sailfish OS, and ask Google the permission to use Play Store as the main App Store of the OS, so that Sony could make updates even faster, and most probably even longer support (phones will be updated to newer OS until they're no longer capable of handling the next one).

meemee, 10 Nov 2017lol. the best camera sensors maker in the world. but cannot use theirown sensors properly. de... moreThey were standing still in time, but doesn't mean they're not good. I can freshly recall how the Xperia Z2 destroys the Galaxy S5 in low light camera shootout, now it's the other way around. But we do think that Sony is aware of their own flaws especially in the camera, given how they listened and lowered down the megapixel count in favor of larger pixels with the IMX400 Motion Eye™ camera of this year. What I am just hoping for is even lower 16mp but larger 1/2" sensor to boost the pixel size to maybe 1.4um like on Samsung's 12mp cameras and Google Pixel 2 phones, U 11, etc. OIS is also a must, if they really mean that their smartphone cameras are based on their top tier Alpha cameras. Maybe wider f1.4 lens will do in order to boost the amount of light. And finally some solid camera software. Smartphone camera sensors are too tiny to handle extremely high ISO values. ISO 3200 on smartphone cameras would look like an ISO 102400 of digital APS-C cameras. Improve the ISO performance and try to improve the post processing and it'll be so much better. No need for dual camera, digital zoom is right enough.
