This is now as boring as Mac vs PC. I really dont understand why its a constant battle of apple vs everything else. Isn't life all about choice ? I'm happy using my sgsii but respect the iPhone for it's innovation and tech too. If your happy with the whole apple ecosystem then that's fine for you. I'm a Google boy yes, but I don't feel the need to flamewar everything else.

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2011dont be silly.... yaar don't trust on samsung because use china plastic yaa ..i see the fact... morehmm, another fantasy boy. there is a difference between fanboys and fantasy boys. fanboys actually use a phone, fantasy boys dream about the phone, they actually dont use it. they tend to put their imaginations, like kids do about their favorite cartoon hero.

you should be a fantasy boy, you know very less about samsung and apple. for sure, you might have never used s2 at all (not even demo set).

first learn the basics, know why and what material is used for and its purpose, then comment on advantages/disadvantages. after that quote your personal choice/opinion.

i like nokia phones.. but this is the best phone ever... hehe.. i like this also, well, i love this.. hehehe... the great features make a phone so sensible, doesn't need to be metal phone, what is that metal phone if the features and CPU is not as good as this one.. hahaha... this phone is BOOOOOOOOOOOM! WOW! i've read about the upcoming iphone5, i hope it would be better than this SGSII phone when it will be officially released, momentarily, the iOS5 features that has being featured is not that good.. i will also like iOS5 if it will be better than SGSII.. hehehe.. Good luck everyone...

AMK, 11 Jul 2011oh yes! Aples 'quality hardware' has most of it parts made by 'cheap' samsung.!!I had a 2G and 3G iPhones, and Gorilla glass on my I9000M SGS is way better than Apple's "scratch-proof" glass, and the bezel shows no sign of wear after one year of use and no protection whatsoever. It may well be plastic, but the finish stand up better than ANY of the 6 Apple products I've owned. My wife has the same I9000M Vibrant, and hers is fairing the same as well.

            *sigh*

Another news about an Android handset. 7 out of 10 news on the front page is about Android. I miss the days when Nokia dominates the front page news here at GSMArena. It feels like it wasn't so long ago when the first Android phones like the Hero and the Dream would make news here at GSMArena and Nokia fans would make fun of it and ridicule it. Now, it's other way around.

AMK, 11 Jul 2011i am using a low end samsung device made entirly out of plastic. It doesnot feel cheap. I dont... moreBecause when you pay 600€ for a phone at least you want to feel where all your money went.
I don't say that Samsung has a bad build quality , but having in mind that the software is free , wich cuts their expenses by a lot they could invest in better materials. And this is not about costs either Samsung sells a huge number of phones , making a contract with them for metal casings won't cost them much more.
For example why is it possible for Htc or Nokia or Motorola to build phones with metal casings at same costs and similar technology (except Nokia) ?
In the end when you spend a lot of money on something in general you want it to be different , to be better ,right , so ppl have something with Samsungs plastic because they pay a lot of money on a phone that is build with the same materials like much cheaper Samsung phones , this is unfair from my point of view.

It's not like SE taking 8 months to go from 2.2 to 2.3 (if they respect their schedule).

But anyway, as long as the phones are working good enough in their current version, i can't see anything worthing to me to jump on this update.

Time out errors come from the connection itself, or from the server you're getting the data from. It is more likely your own connection has been AWOL than the server having broken down.
