Most of these phones must have shipped to Mumbai and Pune cause rest of that state is mostly rural no matter how big it is.

That's just 'cause Xiaomi is selling their phone cheap and most of the people here can only afford cheap phones unlike Samsung or Apple's expensive lineup and yep, even mid tier samsung phones. What did they expect? These big OEMs should learn that they should not overprice their devices especially in 3rd world country like india.

Thats obvious.
Samsung S8 selling price Was 800 as a brand new and S8 note 999.
And manufacturing price is 320,25 and 370 dollars per note 8.
Xiaomi sells for simmilar price its flagship. 350 eur for Mi6.
Samsung is a company ruled by greed and clever people stopped fueling Samsung greed for money and their super expensive advertising everywhere. Without this advertising Samsung is unable to sell even a single device.
But in case of Xiaomi their selling price is best advertising Xiaomi have and isbetter than any of Samsung super expensive advertising.
So In case of Xiaomi price tag is what sells.
In Xiaomi theyre dependand on advertising.
But to be honest i rather have a coffee for 2 eur than a same coffee but with whipped cream on it and some crushed nuts for 5 eur.
