Good. OLED has burn in. Also, smart on LG as if they went OLED they would have to make their phone even better then S9. Samsung rules OLED, and no other company is going to take Samsung shares with an OLED panel.
LG just needs to get a universal radio so it can be used on all networks, and please get a good phone chip for reception.

LG display is so excellent, IPS or OLED on that matter, It proves it to their world renowned excellent IPS and OLED televisiona and samsung or japans display are having a hard time to compete and that is the truth.

No problem LG. While you're at it, pls make it 120hz & professionally colour calibrated. LCD is still more colour accurate to OLEDs too.

-Consum... moreYou obviously have not been following good quality OLED displays on smartphones for the last few years. LG has bad displays, regardless of whether they are LED or OLED or anything else. And their issues are also way too many.
Regardless, LG should Solely Concentrate on making the camera G7 Much Better. That single decision can bring it back into the market. Because, the Biggest disappointment on the V30 is the camera. It is not terrible, but it is far from the top 10 cameras around. If LG can sopve that issues, while shaving $200 off theit price (and price it as much as the One Plus phones), they may have a winner.

At any rate, I think that in a couple of years, people will look back at notch phones as one of the worst fads in phone history. LG fans and other consumers aren't going to warm up to notches, so LG would do well to avoid a notched G6 successor imo.

My G5 had terrible image retention and it had a bright spot on the screen that was totally annoying. One of the worst screens I've seen on a phone. My ancient Samsung Note 2 and Motorola Nexus 6 had much better OLED screens than that piece of garbage LG LCD.

LG LCD IPS displays are crap period. The best LCDs are Super PVA that Samsung together with Sony used to produce for their TVs from 2011 till 2014

If you ever used a recent generation Samsung phone you would know there is just no comparison between the 2 technologies.
Super AMOLED simply looks better, can have better sunlight legibility and is more power efficient.
No LCD can even come close to a Super AMOLED.
That being said though, LGs OLED panels were not as great as Samsung's so an LCD might actually match them in quality.
