They won't sell many at that price.I think the purpose is to establish Vivo as a phone manufacturer capable of making high end hardware, and elevate their whole brand in doing so. Rather than being known as a low or mid-range manufacturer with average quality tech.
This isn't designed to sell a ton. It's just designed to get headlines, good reviews, and the odd one on the highstreet so when people see them they ask what this 'phone of the future' is.

So far, VIVO managed to CTRL-C/CTRL-V every single iconic design, from Xperia to Galaxy S and of course iPhone.
There's currently nothing less than 7 notched things in their line up.
And then, out of the blue, the true innovation, beautiful, authentic, magnificent.
Probably what the iPhone X would have been if Apple was really the company they pretend to be.
Anyway, with a four figures MSRP, the phone must carry a pristine camera, top notch (hehe) build quality and some serious durability toward that periscope.
Some IP certification wouldn't be too much as well.
GSMA Team, maybe it's time to give that baby a proper spec sheet
