AnonD-732843, 15 Jun 2018How do these issues get out of development in the first place? This is essentially Windows 10 phenomena, which almost acts as malware
Microsoft new iteration after Windows 8 was Windows 10, which they wanted to be running on the latest flagship the Lumia 950, also ALL Windows 8 phones would receive Windows 10
It caused so many problems during testing that only 2/3 of Windows 8 phones were removed
Despite this Microsoft still released Windows 10 and announced the discontinuation of Windows 8
Long story short Microsoft no longer are phone makers, if Windows 10 could have been fixed i.e say with the release of say another OS lets call it Windows 12 they would have done it
Any phone running Windows 10 would just carry the problems to Windows 12
A successful Windows 12 would have or could be developed on Windows 8, now discontinued not Windows 10
Microsoft is its own worst enemy, instead of cancelling Windows 10 and incrementally updating Windows 8 (Apple IOS are incremental updates) Microsoft released Windows 10, it can't be fixed or corrected or migrated to another upgraded OS and causes a variety of hardware problems
The Lumia 950 has specs that are better than the Google Pixel, costs a fraction of the price not because Lumia cease, but because nice hardware let down by the problem causing software

AnonD-732843, 15 Jun 2018How do these issues get out of development in the first place? Wrong question.
How do these issues get past QA? is the proper one.
When are they going to release Android Gingerbread for this phone?
Did you try clearing dalvik and cache? Did a dirty flash on an i9300 once, doing the suggested help marvellously.
How do these issues get out of development in the first place?
