AnonD-16334, 28 Sep 2011it cost almost same of SGII.do u nokia people know about sgII lol ??????or you blind to buy o... moreYou can't compare sg2 and N9, they are completely different worlds. N9 is much more advanced and MeeGo runs natively where android doesn't. So even if SG2 or any other android phone would have better hardware specs, it would still be slower than the native MeeGo. And the touch screen with no buttons is very intuitive and easy to use. So open your eyes fanbois, there's a new boss in town.

Tk, 29 Sep 2011I'm using a nokia N8 and have received all the updates so far. So dont blame nokia they did th... morePlease dont confuse N8 with N9. You are having Symbian OS. The argument is on new MeeGo aka maebo 6. This OS supposingly original Nokia tablet N800 and N810 years back. It was solely tablet without call function. When Nokia released N900 with maebo 5, making call from this phone take about 5 min from boot.

So, ya I've trust issue with Nokia. Shouldn't I?

I don't trust Nokia for this. After the N900 bad experience on Software support, i can only say "shame on u for fooling me once, shame on me for fooling me twice".. Goodbye Nokia, see u next life.

from how i see things, elop "killed" meego to pave way for a new OS that is entirely owned by nokia. he's given enuf clues about meego being used in future product developments, hence, feature phones. So meego is kinda of being rebranded as meltemi since all the qt appas being developed for n9 can easily be (im assuming...) ported to meltemi which i GREAT NEWS :D

              cheers!

Jeromeo, 28 Sep 2011I am a N900 owner and I can tell you that is an absolute LIE. Do not trust Nokia EVER.I am also an owner of a nokia n900, and I can tell you that previous poster is a lie. The nokia n900 was adequately supported, had it's software updates and worked as intended. I expect no less from the n9, which I already set aside cash for.

Samsung, why are you trying to kill Nokia?. Must samsung lick whatever nokia spits out?. My friends, its so pathetic, i feel so much for nokia, all i see about the samsung intel ''Tizen'' is a strategy to kill meego and nokia from the smartphone world.
But, i must say this Nokia will never die. The world loves NOKIA. Long live nokia, long live symbian, s40, meego, qt, nokia store, and long live the nokia wp7.5, wp8 smartphones and tablets.

The fact that Nokia feel they need to inform that they will coninue support N9 with sotfware updates actually proves that N9 is the last MeeGo-phone ever from Nokia! App and game developers will only have N9, without any hope of any MeeGo after N9, so it is a waste of money to make any app or game for only N9! The abaility to use Android apps... on MeeGo is not supported by Nokia, and this ability depends completly on teens around the world that "develop" during nights and on weekends!

AnonD-11450, 28 Sep 2011I will take n9 at any cost i love this phone this phone has everything that i need:-).:-) awes... moredont buy any of these garbage good for nothing phones.
if you had lots of money to spend buy good brands like samsung galaxy s2 which are not even a competitor to these devices like the useless n9.
otherwise go and tear off your money or set the money on fire since you may become like me later.
