Since software is more important, in your opinion, why should I waste money on a new flagship that is barely better than what I already have? I don't know which manufacturers you support, but every phone I've ever owned has received security patches and software updates for several years afterwards, not just until their successor reaches the market. My oldest phone is more than 3 years old and it just received a software update last week.

Yes multi-tasking, which is the better ratio for multi-tasking? Yes a taller display ratio. How can you watching a YouTube video and browsing the comment board as the same time with much more convenience view area while you are holding it with single handed much more easily? Yes a slimmer 2.5D side frame and taller display (but definitely not the big edge or waterfall screen one). On the other hand, what will be the best way to enjoy the 21:9 display ratio? Yes, watching movie and playing game, the movie is totally fit the screen nicely for immersive experience and for gaming the extra view fields can makes you take the first chance and lead in actions. What's more benefits? Yes, the video movie style recording feature with the professional configuration settings to fulfill the creator/user's desires/imagine and there is even more better for group photography and landscape photography because the 21:9 ratio provides a wider field in landscape position.
