Im looking at the animation and i cant see how the slide mechanism would work out. I dare say it will follow the n97 or e7 slide mech system.

So the horizontal keyboard is still a relevant feature. At least Planet Computers have decided to make it a sliding phone á la Motorola Droid 4: https://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_droid_4_xt894-4418.php

I'm waiting for my F(x)tec Pro1 but I'm really excited to se more QWERTY phones come out.
I went from a nokia E7-00 to a BlackBerry Priv and will move to my F(x)tec Pro1 when it arrives.
No physical keyboard is a deal breaker for me so I'm always glad to see this trend (it's also perfect if the screen slides and tilts and if the keyboard has a 5 row layout with directional arrows and a ctrl button).

What a pleasant surprise. I always wanted the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 which had one. They should do another Xperia Play. Something different. Tired of the same old slabs.

It says it works in the US but I wish they'd list the LTE bands before pulling this trigger...

Nice that it supports Linux for programmers that are interested.

That is w... moreNah that keyboard you have is closer to a full-sized laptop keyboard than a smartphone physical keyboard. This one is too small for full hand typing and still requires the two-thumb typing grip. The problem is the two-thumb typing method is easier on horizontally shorter phones so this one is going to be much harder to type on because how long it is for two-thumb typing. No way anyone is going to type faster on this than a virtual keyboard in portrait mode.

It's a 2340x1080 (20:9) display. Specs are on the Indiegogo page if you scroll further down.

Finaly, a worthy rival to the F(x)tec Pro1. The chipset used is definitely interesting as it is the same chipset found in the Oppo Reno3 5G.
