LilPhone, 19 Apr 2020The Xiaomi costs way cheaper in Asia. Maybe there is a shipping cost for US markets as they ar... moreErrr... no. For someone like me who lives in Malaysia, the price isn't any much different than the US market. Yes it cheaper, but only by say 5% or possibly 10%. Way cheaper? Not even slightly.

long ago.. to expensive now just like any other premium brand u can buy anywhere in stores etc....
i could get oneplus 7t 128gb for US 430 and 7t pro 256gb for US 650 right now so why even bother to get 8 or 8 pro? even the mighty huawei p30 pro 256gb is just US 600 and will blow them up for camera performance.
Oneplus has graduated into a premium brand now, you pay for the os.
Realme is the new oneplus for value conscious users. I have no idea about their new realme ui though.
CompactPhones5ever, 19 Apr 2020Really horrible and biased poll. The question in title is basically if OP is a good deal. My a... moreI think you mean your answer is yes and the options are no, no, no... Oneplus is has lost its special wow factor of price/performance
I will prefer other reliable brands like Samsung for this high price
Since the answer for the question isn't in the options,
YES
No matter Whatever ur thought is, u have to answer OnePlus is the phone u want!!! Never expected from a website like GSMarena!!! At least this should have an option with other phone!!!
The title is not corresponding with the article. Gsmarena will fast lose its credibility if it keeps this up
At this price, I will go for Samsung S20+.
1+ lost the plot, they're up themselves. Sales will be poor, buy elsewhere, simples.
[deleted post]Price/Quality ratio is the most important thing - two pennies for two pennies as Scrooge would say ;-D

A fifth option should have been: What's wrong with OP 7 Pro, it's as good for half the price?
Yes to the question. Why do we still have notch and puncholes.. This is ridiculous. The aspect ratio is getting taller and phones are looking like elongated remotes. First it was 18:9 then it became 19:9, then 20:9 then 21:9 and more akward aspect ratios. Why can't manufacturers stick to a defined aspect ratio, so that content compatibility is universal. 16:9 is still much better as you don't see laptops and TVs with the aspect ratios of the smartphones these days and content is another reason, upscaling 16:9 content is not a feasible idea because first it's impossible and secondly due to 16:9 content being in abundance that upscaling them to the newer ratios look distorted or stretched. I mean 16:9 screens can be bezeless too, it's no big task but with 16:9 screens being bezeless with no curved corners, you can add front facing powerful speakers. All these useless screen aspect ratios and curved corners has to go.
The simple issue is that if someone is spending that much of money they would want to invest in some brand having market value for years something like apple or samsung it doesn't matter if the oneplus is better or same to them. People want to play safe with their money when you spend something close to 1000 USD
Why no option for "Not a good upgrade"?
My answer is no.
OnePlus have lost what made them popular.
