the sony have better sound, battery life and a... moreWhich airpods are you talking about? The pro's do have a good fit, the normal ones don't for a lot of people (their music is leaking through). Also, if you have smaller ears, they just fall out so easily (i have two different sized ears, i can confirm). And the look like toothbrushes. The pro's look waaaaaaay better though.
I still think these buds look better because nothing is sticking out, but it is different per person

btw as of this earbuds, i can say that it caters to some people... at least we have a choice... and the naming... i think this is more helpful... like if you want to look for an earbuds just tell them the basic specifications... "hey id like to buy a wireless earbuds that has noise cancelling" then they will show you the options and deduce more...

from i see in this comment section. many people cant appreciate sound. design is imporant but if sound bad, you cant enjoy your music at least for me. apple airpod is look so fragile, doesnt have quality looks. even the design so minimalist. maybe for who have apple, i think pick airpod still good because of apple ecosystem.

My daily drivers are the Jabra 75t. I have about 8 wireless earbuds with two more on the way. I admit I do like the way the airpod pro looks but I'm not in apples ecosystem so I would not buy them.
I want the most minimalist earbuds possible because I like the sleek look and I would like to wear them while I sleep. I even have the Bose sleepbuds. No earbuds I have except the Mifo followed by the 75t and galaxy buds sit flat enough to sleep on my side but they are still not flat enough and the Mifo sound bad. The airpod pros certainly are not flat. The pixel buds look minimalist and sit flat so I may try them next.

the sony have better sound, battery life and anc and it's unmistakable. its at least 20% better.
however the apple airpod are better looking and they have a better ear fit (most important..). The new sony seem to have the wings for fit so i might go back to them, the sound was just so much nicer and not hearing the wind and crap was also quite pleasant.

IMHO a tiny earbuds is not easy to grasp when wear on the tiny earbuds on ears unless you have a tiny and warry fingers, because the tiny wireless earbuds doesn't like the wired earbuds can grip the wire as safety as it can when wear on. See how you drop the tiny wireless earbuds because you can't grasping it well, so an acceptable size like this one is great and better than other tiny designs.
