[deleted post]Yes android fans are in tears from laughter seeing apple fanboys (not the reasonable ones) got so exited for the new festures witch are present on android since the begining LOL
Blackk Mamba , 05 Jul 2020Forget Poco F2.
The Redmi 10X with Dimensity 820 is destroying every thing in its price range... moreKeep the Redmi but don't complain once it encounters issues. Redmi Note 9 Pro users in parts of Asia have complained of dust entering camera lens. Regular Note 9 have potential screen burn-in issue (which is strange for a LCD panel) but not confirmed yet as it's a relatively new device.
It's just the same as a realme phone. Textured plastic back versions are prone to mould growth, serious software issues (hard reset), screen touch delay, etc.
I will invest in a more expensive Mi Note 10 Pro or Samsung A71, iPhone 11 (expensive, but iOS only) or some previous-gen flagship.
Point is they might offer nice specs for the price but beware of any issues you might encounter later on.
Anonymous, 05 Jul 2020IOS is a joke when it comes to security. Remember fappening scandal? 90% of them had no clue ... moreSamsung Android also uploads to its cloud without permission. At least you can disable it in the settings.

The Redmi 10X with Dimensity 820 is destroying every thing in its price range... moreGood luck with the Redmi. Redmi phones sold in most parts of Asia comes with issues. Multiple Redmi Note 9 Pro users have complained of dust entering the camera lens, as they seem to lack some sort of adhesive or seal. QC is just so bad like budget Realme phones (textured plastic back are prone to mould growth, software issues, potential battery explosion, etc.)
Sometimes specs aren't everything, but price speaks of what device you are getting. I would invest in the reliable Mi Note 10 instead.
I love my original SE but I hate iOS.
Until they allow me the freedom to do what I want to my own phone the android will be my go to.
I'm and android user for more than 10 years. Never use an iphone before.
I've been seeing iphone has been slowly following the path of android throughout the years. These are not necessarily a bad thing. I've been bored with android after so long and in 2020, it doesn't matter much if you are and android or ios user. Both have been converging now. What's important now is the quality of the apps in each platform, and ios definitely have an edge here.
What sadden me is some android phone only support software update up to 2 years compared to 5 years in ios. This is quite ridiculous considering the flagship android phone cost as much if not more than an iphone. Android fans always said that the hardware is superior and future proof. But then, what's the point of having future proof hardware when the software only support up to 2 years?
I still love android but I might jump ship to ios for my next phone.

Remember guys when apple screwed us with removing the accessories?
Now you are screwed to.

Anonymous, 05 Jul 2020You an buy an older iPhone and still get more updates than a new android phone.Yes, the software up to date is the only thing that matters. Who cares about high resolution high frame rate displays, huge battery, fast charging, high quality accessories included in the box, periscope cameras with insane zoom capabilities, easy repeatability without software restrictions, completely customisable UI and so on.
No wonder apple can sell their iphones with ancient charging brick and earphones from 2015. As long as the show of status is achieved dosent matter that it takes hours for the battery to charge, and spending a ton of money for a dongle collection and accessories that should be included in the box in the first place.
You an buy an older iPhone and still get more updates than a new android phone.
Anna, 05 Jul 2020ios 14 may be at par with Android OS but that's just software part. What about hardware? ... moreAnna, just some things to clarify:
Nobody uses the pathetic charger that come with standard iphones in the box. So, majority of iphone users already have 2-3 chargers around. Also, this is true for any person really. If Apple ditch the charger, I don't care (I didn't use it anyway). If I may speculate, if they will do this eventually, Android phones in max 2-3 years will follow the trend. I will laugh big time when I will remember all the Android lovers about this in the near future (but this is beside the point).
iTunes is not necessary anymore to copy music/photos from and to iphone. I have a company laptop and I can't install any third party software (that includes iTunes too). I can use a card reader device with whom I connect to my iphone and to my laptop. True, this device cost 15EUR, but it has USB, USB type C and lightning ports + micro sd and normal card reader. So I basically use it with any phone. I keep all my things on my sd card and move them around to any device if necessary (is like having an external HDD). Also now you can download music, files, photos from internet into your Apple device with no problem.
Ah yes, the price. This is true, iphones are expensive. Sadly, nowadays, Android companies have started to follow the trend. So, if we are talking flagship devices, iphones are no longer the most expensive ones. When it comes to mid-range and low-end devices, here things are more tricky. In my experience, Android phones in this range are bad and they don't have the same performance for more than 6-12 months. I would rather buy a 2-4 years old iphone (second hand) than a new mid-range or low-end Android phone. And the prices don't differ that much.
Hope I clarify your issues.

That can be had for half the price of the SE 2020.

This fake win on GeekBench is destroyed in real world where chips which are 40% inferior in Single core performance (SD865) on paper are destroying iPhone in real world performance.

No 'pure'... moreEverything you said is true.
Plus I could add a hundred other points to it.
Exactly the reason why I always kept coming back to Android.

The statement I made was a fact.
The celebrities were completely clueless on their pics being uploaded to the cloud.
Proves that an OS is as secure as the end user.
Why don't you name all those 75% users who disagree with me?
