Anonymous, 24 Aug 2020it is sapphire thoNot about the typo bro 😀 he's joking because in Zac's channel (jeeryrigeverything) Zac always quotes Apple for using sapphire on their camera lenses, but when he gets the Mohs picks, and the lenses scratch ot 6 or 7. Sapphire scratches at 8 or 9.
Typically Apple commercials...
Well on youtube there is one more test showing exactly opposite so which one is real????
iAmApple, 25 Aug 2020my 11 PRO MAX shattered horribly. If the apple Logo is intact then its totally worth it
If logo gets damages then you can sell it 30 years later will bring in million $
iRajApple, 24 Aug 2020But iPhone cracks with beautiful pattern And all scratches are highly securemy 11 PRO MAX shattered horribly.
Berserker, 25 Aug 2020Tou can put frosting on a pile of dog sh*t. But that doesn't make it a cake. xD not gonna lie, I had a good laugh at that analogy.
AnonD-558092, 24 Aug 2020The iPhones don't employ sapphire, except on the camera lens. It's still Gorilla Glass.Even on the camera lens they are using regular glass.
Sapphire is just marketing term used by Apple which was exposed by JerryRig.

Thanks, i didn't noticed the wrong spelling.
AnonD-558092, 24 Aug 2020The iPhones don't employ sapphire, except on the camera lens. It's still Gorilla Glass. Not to mention, now we also have "sapphire" and proper sapphire.
Some material claimed to be sapphire that was tested, while stronger than "glass", it didn't reach proper sapphire durability rating.
FreezeGame, 24 Aug 2020🤣🤣🤣Some people can't seem to grasp that this is a test of Gorilla Glass 6 vs. Victus, not Note 20 Ultra vs. iPhone 11 Pro Max.
SNA1970, 24 Aug 2020All glass body needs to disappear. I want Metal body back ...All metal bodies dent and scratch and block RF, necessitating 'windows'. Their overall signal reception is generally worse, especially as we get into higher frequencies (2+GHz sub-6 & mm-Wave). Plastics are perceived as "cheap" and can take lifetimes to degrade. Glass shatters and as such is ill-suited to take-everywhere devices (even Victus) except where necessary (screens). There've been a handful of devices with ceramics, but those are reportedly more shatter-prone than glass.
IMO manufacturers need to investigate alternatives more seriously; maybe strong fibre weaves, perhaps something based on wood, or embedded shock-absorbing/distributing materials like D3O into the frames, etc..
It’s very comforting to know that Victus is indeed a considerable improvement over GG 6 and not just marketing hype. That’s also probably why they chose to give it a completely different name, instead of just calling it GG 7.
One of the most important things to come out of this is the fact that GG 6 will probably get cheaper and we will see it in a lot of upcoming mid-rangers, instead of GG 5 (or the much older GG 3, in Samsung’s case).
Berserker, 24 Aug 2020You mean Saphire that scratches at lv7? 😂 Saphire 😉it is sapphire tho
Stellar display! People can hate all they want, but the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra is the closest smartphone to a masterpiece device that has ever been released. Easy.
