The S3 has moisture sensors. Surely the investigators would have noticed if the phone had been "exposed to water" as the guy claimed.
The guy is a shill for another company, trying to make the competition look bad, I'd say.
Something like this happened to my Dad's Chinese iphone clone and he also put it in the oven. The phone got similar burn marks. How could i not remember it after seeing the pics of this S3 a few weeks ago
So all the guys who were bashing samsung for "defected" products....STFU!!!!! and dont give excuses that samsung paid that guy.....and yeah samsung is not legally troubling him...bcoz SAMSUNG is not APPLE!!!!
AnonD-48120, 07 Jul 2012Would not surprise me if Samsung would intimidate the guy with a lawsuit etc in order to get h... moreExactly, i expect my comment was revoked. But i don't believe any of this. Samsung would have paid him off to retract his statement. Open your eyes people.
Would not surprise me if Samsung would intimidate the guy with a lawsuit etc in order to get him to resign his statement.
AnonD-8044, 07 Jul 2012Its this croc of shit type people who ruin genuine peoples/companys lives.Couldn't agree more - I hope he has legal proceedings brought against him for defamation
"the phone was exposed to water and "another person" had been trying to mend it"
Nuff said.. owner's fault....
I don't believe for one moment that this is true.
I believe that the phone genuinely did blow up, but as it's a rare occurance, i'm willing to be that Samsung gave him lots of goodies to shut him up and change his statement on the matter. This happens ALOT, and i bet this is one of those cases.
AnonD-8044, 07 Jul 2012Its this croc of shit type people who ruin genuine peoples/companys lives.totally agree.......

I can imagine if this was Apple they would probably want him extradited to the U.S for prosecution. Samsung has much more class than this...
