The S3 has moisture sensors. Surely the investigators would have noticed if the phone had been "exposed to water" as the guy claimed.

The guy is a shill for another company, trying to make the competition look bad, I'd say.

Something like this happened to my Dad's Chinese iphone clone and he also put it in the oven. The phone got similar burn marks. How could i not remember it after seeing the pics of this S3 a few weeks ago

So all the guys who were bashing samsung for "defected" products....STFU!!!!! and dont give excuses that samsung paid that guy.....and yeah samsung is not legally troubling him...bcoz SAMSUNG is not APPLE!!!!

I don't believe for one moment that this is true.
I believe that the phone genuinely did blow up, but as it's a rare occurance, i'm willing to be that Samsung gave him lots of goodies to shut him up and change his statement on the matter. This happens ALOT, and i bet this is one of those cases.

i had one returned 2 my store that had started smoldering and the guy had only just purchases it and hadnt been outside the store was very strange
