Anonymous, 29 Aug 2020I'm talking about computers and phones.Everything is the same. Apple still best in premium devices in term of customer care and quality.
Microsoft and google is notorious for its customer care which is not global and bugs in software.

Are u that much of Apple sheeps?
What kind of 'best' did u mean?

What makes Apple "still the best in premium segment" when their products are:
        1. EASILY BENDABLE (a trendy features of current ipad & old iphone copied directly from Fold)
        2. EASILY CRACKED (a trendy features of the current iphone which cost at least 450$ to replace)
        3. EASILY SCRATCHED (A trendy feature of iphone who advertised the camera lens as sapphire but easily scratched and have to pay hundreds bucks just to replace it with the same crap)
        4. HARDLY REPAIRABLE (a trendy features of airpods where it's near impossible to repair/change the battery)

After listing all these, anyone in their right mind still able to say 'the best in premium segment'?

You can build a system but to add all the small convint feature you will probably need to pay for them in many countries. So you're OS will be ethier lacking or the moment a manufacturer use it they will have to pay someone for their invention.
Even apple pays Nokia for patents.
          All Android manufacturers pay Microsoft
Also patents expire ,any just wait 20 years to get things for free, obviously hardware ones always evolve so if you wait , probably the old patent is useless because tech evolved

Take example of apple watch, airpods pro. Google pixel buds 2 is a piece of premium shit.

"The company didn't admit that there was indeed an issue"
The Apple way: "We know better than you, the users, do. Always."

Why cant we have a complete brand new open OS (unlike android with Google tentacles around it) with open Appstore.

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2020why not just make it globally?Because it's Crapple, and they lost the case in an US court.

So, if you want they to refund your defect purchase, you have to take them to court in your country.

And, some people still claim crapple has the "best after sale service", "best quality", "refined experience"...

" you are a US resident, you might receive up to $189 in compensation "

You can expect a grand total of around tree-fiddy dollars once all's said and done. That too only if you reside in the US of A, nice.

And just wow...my original Apple charging cables are significantly more damage prone than some of the chinese built ones I picked up from amazon as replacements. And these are Just cables...
Apple is a poster child for undercutting on build quality in the premium tier and yet the rabid fangurls just don't seem to get it.

(Mac and iPad owner here, bought it for work not for fangurling.)
