Spotify doesn't like Apple One Comments

For people who dont the past, Apple and others cried foul and went to courts and won against microsoft, calling it anti-competetive, to bundle Internet Explorer along with Windows-OS. Is not unethical apple doing the same. My opinion, Apple ecosystem is for people who dont need to work hard to earn money. Thats why they throw away money on such products and think others dont buy since they are poor (believing that being poor is so wrong). For the haters, let me tell you In can afford to buy an i-Device every year, but love the cheap Samsung Ms and As.

Spotify is available everywhere, Apple one is only available on selected devices. So Spotify has nothing to worry about.

This is kinda the same situation that happened in 1990s when Microsoft bundled IE with Windows. Antitrust laws were filed because it was becoming a monopoly and sidelining the competition. Result - no one uses Netscape now.
People here are asking Spotify to innovate and compete. What they are not seeing is the difficulty in this. Apple and Amazon are 2 companies that provide videos+music and both are trillion dollar firms. Spotify doesn't have enough power. The biggest gamble Spotify has taken is including podcasts!

With this kind of target there is no way other services could exist. Everything will squeezed out and only Apple services could exist all for the sake of simplicity. With Apple sold millions of devices each month (compared to Amazon), you can bet that Apple be will pushing hard on this bundle and stifle the competition.
Also not many people realized when you pay for Apple services, Apple keep all of that. But at the same time when you pay for others, Apple got 30% cut of your purchase. Can you really expect other services could compete while at the same time match Apple price? Nope and this is what Apple wants.

imagine if KFC called out MacDonald's one day and decided to take it to courts or the government if MacDonald's decided to put on its menu a new combo meal with fried chicken in it, saying it is harmful for our fried chicken selling business, wouldn't it be absurd and ridiculous?
why was it only Spotify that made such statement, if Netflix came out with the same statement concerning Apple One, would it be valid as well? is Apple banning any other platform from its devices ? the exact same logic is applicable with every single platform offering one or some of the services similar to what is in Apple One
i understand, that people within the apple ecosystem will be more inclined to stick to Apple music through Apple One "which according to Spotify is a direct competitor to them" and not look for another music providing platform due to the effect of " less subscription clicks"
but that can only happen if they find that a subscription to Spotify is worthless and that Apple music it giving them what they want, so it is a matter of customer preference of the kind of service one is paying for at the end of the day, nothing else!
so maybe .. just MAYBE, instead of crying about it, Spotify should think of how to hold on to its consumer base ? reinvent, and come up with incentives to make people think, they are offering us a service we cant find anywhere else, isn't that free market 101 ?!
this is nothing but a sign of weakness on Spotify's end

NOTHING is stopping Spotify from creating their own bundles with other providers. They’re complaining because they only do music streaming and that’s it. They’ve had years to come up with something more compelling but that didn’t happen.
Apples offer is no different to Amazon Prime.

Spotify & Netflix are way better than Apple. It's time to stand against Apple. Actually it's easy to say today that Apple One is more beneficial but tomorrow picture will be different. Also, competition is the great friend of a customer. Apple want monopoly in every tech field.

Wonder why some of you guys can't see this as harmful. Would you pay Spotify and one of the services that Apple has individually per month or would you say feck it and just pay $15 per month for Apple One Individual and stop using Spotify alltogether? The answer is easy right, not to mention knowing Apple they will push this bundle really hard and crush others.
Also don't forget that this is actually created even more walled garden for Apple. If you could get all the entertainment you want from Apple, why would you leave the ecosystem?

Well spotify is not wrong... this will create a huge monopoly in the market .. at least from business perspective but personally as android daily driver user, I might consider switching to ios .. apple deal look sweet ...

I may not like Apple but what I hate are regulations and governments meddling with both people and companies. I don't see anything wrong with this service and Spotify can go back to Sweden if they don't like it.
