It is hoped that Blackberry do not abandon its core strengths in order to follow the current market fashion for touchscreen devices. The qwerty form factor appeals to many and BB has championed this, along with the value of secure e-mail and messaging tools. Touchscreen is a great method of interacting with web pages and multimedia but for heavy duty typing on the move I would imagine many would prefer a Blackberry to a touchscreen. This is reinforced by what has occurred in the laptop/tablet space, with manufacturers recognising that the two forms of interaction complement each other, such Asus' hybrid tablet/keyboard arrangment and the forthcoming Microsoft Surface and Samsung Ativ range.
zacomaco, 04 Sep 2012why does anyone care about BB? they have no hope in the market and are frankly receiving to ... moreBlackBerry is King
Blackberry is not dead i don't know how many times the media and some websites have declared BlackBerry dead. The playbook LTE is much better than any other tablet available currently. I cannot wait for BB 10 to be launched Be Bold and don't believe the Hype.
If BB10 sale then i guess we are in for another sue from apple :/ oooh well here we go again

they have no hope in the market and are frankly receiving to ... morePost like your's are everywhere on the internet since 2010 and yet Blackberry is still alive and kicking with new models released this year and another models to be released next year.
BB is a business smartphone designed to make things done. BB serves its purpose when it comes to mobile communications, that's the purpose of smartphones right?
Not just downloading nonsense apps that you really don't need (or use in a daily basis) in the first place. It's not a Toy buddy. Not everyone needs a Toy.
Probably this is not the final product since it's just a leak. once available in the market compare it to your Toy.
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012Why does the image have a windows logo, top right of the phone screen? That's the BlackBerry logo found on any other BlackBerry device
BB is out of the race, no way back...
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012Why does the image have a windows logo, top right of the phone screen? It doesn't. That's the BB logo..
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012Why does the image have a windows logo, top right of the phone screen?u r definitely not a blackberry user.
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012Why does the image have a windows logo, top right of the phone screen?its not Windows logo, its the BB logo.
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012Why does the image have a windows logo, top right of the phone screen?its not the windows logo... that's the blackberry.. and it shows that the cellphone has a connectivity to the net with 3G or 4G.... that's all..
That's not the windows Logo, that's that's the blackberry logo and if that's shown in the top right hand corner of the screen on your blackberry handset, it means you are connected to BIS. I have it now on my blackberry 9860
Needless to say, I think that Blackberry are now far too behind in the race and any attempt at a new handset will be a futile one. They have gone from being a serious contender to being a social chat icon for young teens
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012Why does the image have a windows logo, top right of the phone screen?whats not a windows logo, its the official balckberry icon to show that the BIS connection is available.
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012Why does the image have a windows logo, top right of the phone screen? That's not a Windows logo, but BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) logo.
As known, BB user needs to connect (and pay!) to its propietary network called BIS to use several features such as Blackberry Messenger.
It would be a pity if Blackberry were to abandon its core appeal such as offering the qwerty form factor and quality build.
Why does the image have a windows logo, top right of the phone screen?
This "London " phone needs a LANDSCAPE QWERTY SLIDER OF AT LEAST 4.5-inch diagonal screen with the reported 1280 x 768 resolution and cutting-edge dual -core/ quad-core SoC to get anywhere. The 'Bold -style ' handsets are all very well BUT LARGE SCREENS ARE DEMANDED AND A PROPERLY SIZED KEYBOARD IN AN NOKIA N950 - like design would.cover a LOT of bases.
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012Quad core, qwerty, 3000mah battery maybe will put blackberry back in business. Less than that ... moreyou're dreaming brother !!!
This leak is not that significant. We couldn't see perfectly the phone. Only an interface of the app launcher, which we have seen several times already.
I can't believe so many people want a company and OS to die? Perhaps afraid of the competition? If they do not care for BB, why even comment? Geez.
I've used IOS, Android devices, and yet always comes back to Blackberry with its superior keyboard and best experience in social networking.
Yes, their hardware needs an upgrade badly, and they need to boost the ecosystem better. And those things are they're doing with BB10 and having BB Jam all over the world.
Can't wait for this next generation of Blackberry!
why does anyone care about BB?
they have no hope in the market and are frankly receiving to much publicity than what is warranted
This device will be a failure, all of their devices have been a failure in the past 2 years, and yet the company seems perfectly happy running itself into the ground.
Can we all just move on and ignore their woeful attempts at making a decent phone
Android Will Be King!
