I'd love this QWERTY phone to be a smartphone. It'd mean there was someone else besides BlackBerry taking business and corporate use seriously.

Yes it is. The E62, the e72 etc... Not to mention the original communicator, the various sliders (N95, N97, E7, N900, N950). In fact if there is one manufacturer who really knows how to make keyboard phones it is Nokia!

Though I think this will be a featurephone.

Its OFFICIAL! Nokia is releasing this together with Firefox OS.
I think a Qwerty phone with optical track pad, exceptional battery life, Whatsapp and conversational style sms and wi-fi with 3G will be definitely hit.
Its a good variant, but its gonna come thicker abit and unrealistic.
Cause you cant see anything on the tiny screen with the super camera.
In that conversation, few people have just guessed it to be a QWERTY Lumia, but there is no word from Nokia. Dont know, how GSMARENA is so sure about QWERT release.
I hope this time it will be a windows8 qwerty phone as the aging Symbian software is of no good. I seriously don't understand why the hell NOKIA is not hitting the untouched segment of full qwerty keyboard phones with its windows8 OS or may be a phone like communicator with a thin bezel and win8 os on it.
Infact if nokia re-launches its communicator into a new avatar with ANDROID OS on it, nothing can beat that, as nokia is well known for its sturdy hardware.
Nokia, are you listening??????
