The stupidity of Sony fans around here amazes me, seems many of them have old phones, phones such as Xperia Z, ZL etc.. Also DO NOT have Apps to SD!
AnonD-143680, 07 Jun 2013No, for Samsung phones, you can actually move programmes to a inserted SD card.Actually you cant.
It worked with older note and SGS2 but not Note 2, SGS3 or SGS4.
Bring this update to Note 8 too......
We need more space.......
Samsung what about update to Galaxy S 3 Jelly Bean 4.2.2. Other competitors are ahead in providing updates for their products.Act now Samsung.

Even 16gb isn't enough by today's standards . 32 GB should be the bare minimum for flagships since what you get is actually 20 something. Till now only the 16gb version is available for the S4,which doesn't suit a flagship phone. Also micro SD slots must be available on phones that offers scarce internal memory such as the nexus4
plz bought 4.2.2 update to Note 2..n also move 2 sd update..

It wouldn't be too bad if they gave people the option of buying 32GB and 64GB phones but these are scarce as hens teeth.

It's NOT Samsung that took out "Apps to SD"
It was Google. It started with ICS to not support it. Because some ppl don't use good speed and quality SD cards.
the art of copying sony!
AnonD-77443, 07 Jun 2013The move to SD was available on the SGS2 and the Note. They removed it for some stupid reason ... moreSamsung didn't remove it.....it's is removed by google if u have updated ur device to jellybean, no matter what device it is u can't move it to SD card whicher OEM device u have.....this is a g8 move by Samsung, they r listening to there customers
The move to SD was available on the SGS2 and the Note. They removed it for some stupid reason from the SGS3 and note 2.
Hopefully they bring back move to SD on the Note 2 as well.
AnonD-81579, 07 Jun 2013i don't understand how can Sammy implement the feature of Move to SD when google doesn't allow... moreNot so easy as you not actually can move the full apps to SD card. On XDA someone has tried to move GTA III to the SD card and can only move the app itself 15MB and not the 1.2GB of associated map/texture/sound file data etc.
Thanks,Samsung after a long gaps !
till date all Galaxy Tablets/most high end smartphone recognised micro SD Card as USB storage.
Applications /videos never able to moved to SD card directly (SD Card remain useless without DeskTop helps).
