AnonD-206020, 14 Nov 2013I tryed wp8 and i dont like it. almost no apps and so.when did u last use it...really? there are apps for everything..new games are being added regularly. there is improved dedication in the developers towards WP. the pace of growth has drastically improved. Only complains are about the maturity of
OS which will be addressed by WP8.1. I accept a few apps are missing, not many. By the end of 2013,almost all the remaining official apps are promised to make it to the store
Smartphone's race started 4 years ago with IOS and Android in pole position. But were is Microsoft I said? And I saw an aparrently "weak" Microsoft in smartphone race. Interesting thing I observed in last 4 years since smartphone's race started. Many years ago Microsoft and Nokia leading mobile industry(most inovative companies in smartphones industries, must not forget Nokia Communicator and windows ce series and who were Apple and Google then? Answer: noname in the same industries). Now, Microsoft and Nokia are together! Software and hardware at highest level together. About amazing Microsoft marketing machine it's not necessary to talk. Microsoft never loss a battle in software market since foundation. Another advantage for Ms and Nokia today, they learn from concurence without spend a money. What the customer want and what not? It's easy to undestand what customer want but it's more important to avoid what customers don't want. Avoid lag, system stability bugs, security and privacy bugs, lack of support, ugly or stupid design and high price. Years that comes I bet on Ms & Nokia

Most annoying feature of WP is all those restrictions: you can't do that and that . . . and this is not available for you . . . 3rd apps can't access several settings, you cant install downloaded apps from phone and so on.
It seams they want to control everything you are doing on your phone. No way!!!
oooohhh can't wait. Windows is the best
No apps? WTF are you talking about?

Is WP8 devices upgrade to WP 8.1 supported or not, rumors are Microsoft is going to remove backup button?
If upgrade is supported, then will buy Lumia 1520, if not then will wait for Nokia's next flagship i.e. Nokia Goldfinger, which will get announced next year in MWC-2014.
Nokia........ Truly you're my addition now!!!!!
So trojan elop will be correct.... time will TELL
Have been waiting for WP to bring something big. iOS has lost all it's potential. Android has shown what it can bring and is still growing at a respectable pace. WP is the dark horse. If these roumors are true, then I would definitely shift to the Windows platform. I know it has a lot of potential but the lack of apps that I like is holdng me from shifting. Currently, the only thing that I like about it is the UI which I am copying on my Android device.
Promhize, 14 Nov 2013Hmm, knew Microsoft had something up their sleeve when they decided to buy Nokia.
