Samsung expands One UI 9 Beta program to more devices, Galaxy S25 series receiving first beta update

Samsung announced the Android 17-based One UI 9 Beta program for the Galaxy S26 series in May, and today, the Korean brand expanded the One UI 9 Beta program to more Galaxy devices in India, South Korea, the US, and the UK.

The Galaxy devices eligible for the One UI 9 Beta program include the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 FE. The press release we received from Samsung doesn't mention the Galaxy S25 Edge, so it's unclear whether it will receive One UI 9 beta or get the stable build directly.

Overall, One UI 9.0 doesn't really bring anything seriously new to the table. Our video below lists most of the new features you can expect to see.

For other Galaxy S25 devices, Samsung has already released the One UI 9 beta in India.

If you own any of the eligible devices mentioned above and want to try One UI 9 beta, you can enroll in the One UI 9 Beta program through the Samsung Members app.
