i compared 2 5530 XM devices then I note a difference in build quality
the 1st: is illuival edition (made in China)
the 2nd: is grey color (made in Hungaru)
the 2nd one have more build quality.

planning to buy this phone. anyone from here make some advices to me if what country manufacturer produces a very good 5530.. i heard hungary made 5530's have many problems..

My opinion:
- Battery life is good also because it's only GSM (of course if you make an intensive use don't expect more than one day)
- Sun legibility is poor, the worst I seen.
- Call quality: good reception (but not very good like basic 120x series) audio quality good but not so loud and excellent.
- Touch: very good
- Ergonomy, design: excellent

the phone is good,however tha battery is really really poor.. i have to charge it 2x a day for extremely use..the NOkia OVI is not working well,whenever i tries to open it up,its just keeps on freezing and freezing so i have to close it.I dont recommend this phone,im planning to buy a new phone now probably iphone or HTC.. :)

Man!! This is set is the best!! Nokia u really design cute phones..:)designer must be very smart.:P ok Nokia 5530 is a good handy phone for music, video( 30fps = wow),Camera(3.2mp) and ofcourse 3rd party applications..Only thing lacking is 3g and Gps but anyways there are lot more things u will be happy other than 3g..:) Touch response is the nice compared to other resistive ones( but dont compare touch with capacitve)!!.. Multitasking is fast..Sometimes it hangs provided u installed loads of apps..:) ..Ok i luved this phone..:)

Download and install PSO( pixel smart office ) search in google..Its the best Pdf reader for this set...Its stylish ..:) u can also view 3D view...i am using it..:) Enjoy!! Nokia 5530 best smartphone for nokia..:)

yes, there is, through third party applications.
i have two kinds of it in my 5530.
5530 has tons of downloads, i have at least 50 apps in mine now.
