Nokia 5.3 appears in flesh again with a quad camera

Last month we saw a couple of pictures of the Nokia Captain America, which is rumored to be called the Nokia 5.3. Today we are looking at a new image of the alleged 5.3 that has surfaced online. You can check it out below.

The source of the leak also claims that Nokia 5.3 will be powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC and will come with two 2MP units (macro and depth) instead of 8MP. Furthermore, the smartphone won't come with a glass back, and it will be available in "Sand" color in addition to Charcoal and Cyan shades.

HMD is holding an event on March 19 where we might see the Nokia 5.3 go official, and while the company hasn't officially divulged any information about the 5.3, rumors have it that it will come with a 6.55" 18.5:9 display, up to 6GB RAM, 64GB storage and a 4,000 mAh battery.

The Nokia 5.3 will feature a total of five cameras - an 8MP selfie snapper on the front and a quad camera setup on the back, comprising one 16MP, one 5MP and two 2MP units.

We couldn't verify the authenticity of this information, so it's best to wait for Nokia to shed some light on the 5.3, which could happen on March 19.
