A windows phone wouldn't have been able to properly use this tech. Symbian Belle is the best Symbian yet. With this 1.3gigahertz processor the OS is snappy as hell. A gorgeous OS that doesn't lag, now this is something to rejoice over. Windows Phones are too limited. Symbian is the best OS out. The only problem is the App store. Yeah sometimes they lag and apps sometimes crash but that's a hardware thing that can be solved if Nokia gives their phones as much RAM and processors as powerful as what iOS and Android are getting. It's more fun than that boring iOS and wayyyyy more stable and functional than Android. I really wish they hadn't switched to Windows and deep down I hope they will realize their mistake and begin to reinvest back into Symbian.
really a hard work, that you do not like Nokia but
still have take time to read comments and put
And most of you guys have no technical
knowledge of what you speak."
I've said it before, and I'll say it again...
One more thing left before they release it to market: Dunk it in nano coating to make it waterproof and call it a day. ^_^
41MP camera + high power xeon flash with led + 1.3 single core + Belle o.s. = Better than any icecream or sandwitch .
Problem with Symbian was not the OS by itself, but the hardware where it came... 128MB RAM 434Mhz CPU (with no GPU) on a +500€ N97 that was sluggish and filled with bugs, same thing happened with 5800, even though, being cheaper lessen the issue. Users got angry and that did not looked well for Symbian.
One of the things that actually made it worse was the release of phones like C6-00 with new features, a lot less bugs and a more snappy experience, while the older phones with almost identical hardware kept their bugs, feature set (5800 got 5530 and 5230 homescreen contacts layout though).
Currently I had to use a CFW to make my phone useable, apps kept crashing and had some overall instability that was not tolerable, even after several hard resets and card formats. Fun fact is that my phone is using most of C6-00 firmware features making it look like a new phone entirely.
Assuming bugs in Belle are ironed out from all the previous iterations since S^1, the 1.3 GHz ARM 11 and the 512MB RAM should help quite a bit. I must say though, that I will never buy a Nokia again...
as i saw in the pictures his phone has dual xenon...compare it to the n8 and see the difference.
I'm a N8 user, not interested in apps or social media, just want the best camera phone that money can buy, & this is it, & I want one of these:)
If Belle runs fast on 1GHz ,
now with 1.3GHz will run faster than Android on 4 or 8 core .
Does it says "HTML5"? Really? :D:D:D
but still no flash 10. :(
why doesn't nokia use A8 cotex instead of ARM11.
And who says Symbian is dead with these inovations ?
its way better than any windows tango :)
Sequoiadendron, 27 Feb 2012I am happy with this phone photo camera but got concern about display quality. Below I compare... moreThere is no mistake on the display! Display is good, just like E7, really good to save your battery, and you can't even see pixles because of AMOLED technology. I promise you this display will be great...
Simple amazing... No problem with the OS. I have everthing that I really need:
- Very good camera (carl zeis, auto focus, 41Mpixels,decent flash, optical zoom).
- Very good GPS software (I have tried a lot of Iphone GPS software and I couldn't find any compared with the nokia GPS sofware)
- Facebook and twitter capabilities.
- Exchange e-mail sync.
I have a corporate iphone 4S and I miss my broken N8 every sigle day ! It has been broken by my fault...
kaZe, 27 Feb 2012I am so tired of people bashing symbianOS. There's not much difference between symbian and any... moreI agree with you totally! I tried most of the phones, since I am a smartphone fan. I tried Windows, Droid, IOs5, and Symbian. I like Symbian, because it is truly does not use battery as much as other OSs even if you use it to the fulles. With DROID your phone heats up, with IOS, battery drains pretty quickly, with Windows it is more better, more like SYmbian, but symbian I think beats them all, especially belle. This is my opinion after using these phones:
Nokia 800 Lumia
Samsung Google Nexus S
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Samsung Galaxy S II
talal majali, 27 Feb 2012how 41 MP and the res 7152 x 5368 -_-''
12 MP = 4000 x 3000
that mean the camrea will be 1... morehey man just multiply those numbers and you can easily findout the effective megapixels is 38.
