joe, 21 Aug 2009i just bought it but i was wondering if an 8GB micro sd would slow the phone's performance it ... moreTo JOE:
A 8GB will NOT slow down your E52. I have a E51 with a 8GB and it moves superfast. Go for Transcend 8GB Class 6, that's what I have.
Previously I had a A-DATA Class 6 but the phone was noticeable slower especially starting it.
With my Transcend, it seems as if there's no memory card in it. Really fast !!!
joe, 21 Aug 2009i just bought it but i was wondering if an 8GB micro sd would slow the phone's performance it ... moreI read in some reviews (test results), it's not slow even with 16 GB.
With excellent keypad E52 is better than E55.
But E55 is a little faster than E52.
(very very little/in miliseconds)
Only a few deficiencies:
-TV out (In my opinion it's not so necessary)
-FM transmitter (Not so necessary)
-Low Cam Fps (15 fps) (It would be good with 30 fps)
But except these, it's really great phone.
(By the way, it's more useful than E55)
I think E52 is the best phone of 2009.
I will definitely buy this phone.
But I don't know When does it come to Turkey?
I hope it will come out on 28th August or firs week of September in Turkey same time with All Europe Countries.
(It already has been released in U.K. and some other countries since 11th August)
i just bought it but i was wondering if an 8GB micro sd would slow the phone's performance it is super fast but i need a larger memory
so what would u say??????

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2009I purchased my Nokia E52 from Play dot com in the UK. Box said "Made in Finland". I should ... moreThanks for the responce, I am going to put it down to luck, im waiting for my replacement, lets hope it behaves as well as your one
Anonymous, 21 Aug 2009----- OK,
so is there anyone out there who hasnt had any problems with this phone ?????I purchased my Nokia E52 from Play dot com in the UK.
Box said "Made in Finland". I should imagine almost all Nokia E52's purchased in the UK and from REPUTABLE dealers will be made in Europe as it is only a short boat/plane trip away.
I've had it for approx 1 week now.
Not a single problem. Applications have installed fine - though I am yet to 'unlock' Symbian so that I can install cracked apps and do other things that crappy Symbian won't let you do without the annoying shackles being removed.
Opera Mobile does NOT work with it. Opera Mini does, but why use it if you have a smart phone? The built in browser is fine. Skyfire is excellent but runs slow.
I have used the phone heavily for web browsing and it has not reset or anything.
I've had one or two phone calls and a good few text messages. NO problems.
Battery run out after around 5-7 hours of browsing.
That's excellent considering my last crappy phone (6500 Classic) ran out of juice after about 30 minutes of web browsing.
So that's about the heaviest thing (data and battery wise) you can do with the E52, and it has not failed me once.
Maybe there was a problem with the batch produced in Asia.
Looks like the Finnish made ones are fine.
Otherwise, perhaps some people have just been unlucky...
Anonymous, 21 Aug 2009good to hear, where did u get it from ? what country ?Im in the UK, from play.com, made in Finland
