If successful, i recomme... more cannot even take the battery out of the phone I dont know what can be a problem ,Because first I start the phone ann at was workin for 1 minute maximum and Itry the select the country and that's it the phone stuc and I turned off and never turn back on even if I try the hold the button for 8 second

Be warned though, you will lose QT, ovi maps and ovi store and any other pre-installed apps in the phone when you perform a hard reset.
Or you can do like what Gitty did, ask for a replacement from nokia

If successful, i recommend that you immediately upgrade your phone firmware. Have you installed anything other than from Ovi store?

To those wanting to buy iPhone remember that you need a CONTRACT WITH OPERATOR, or you have to JAIL BREAKING the phone, before you can use it.
Jail Breaking is breaching the law, consider the same as software pirating. Do you want to use a phone that has legal issue..? Not me.
Better you look something WITHOUT CONTRACT or WITHOUT LEGAL ISSUE like Nokia N8.

Hi, did anybody try out the voice command/dial? How does it work?
Does the N8 play avi files and can you also connect to the internet using your LAN by connecting you ethernet cable to usb/ethernet adapter plug and connecting it to a micro usb or do you have to use the WLAN?
Also what is the oldest office document that the N8 can view. ( microsoft office 97 and up)
I'm planning on buying this phone soon and I'm curious about these features mentioned.

My N8 is fine and awesome
The amount of phones that are faulty out of the box is stupid.
I love Nokia but come on NOKIA im trying to get people to get N8's and most of them off the bat are faulty

Guys dis fone is just amazing.....guys i have all my latest songs on my fone....use it all the time in my car with fm transmitter...and wen i need songs wen iam on the move...ovi music is just awesome....my frds were blown how much nokia N8 offers.....all new music fr free....!!!!!

my opinion: the people who are stil writing on ths forum d0n't own an n8. I g0t my n8 on Thursday & I c it as a waste of time having to swat flies (Samsungs, iPhones) away. This is a d0pe ph0ne! Feature are unmatched! 7-1 defeat, and ur blackburn! LoL! Glory gl0ry man united!

Eldar on www.mobile-review demoaned the N8 before it was even Released an tried to deter Nokia from releasing it,but on mobile-review he as just done a Audio Test between the N8,iPhone4 an Samsung Wave,an the N8 won the test,an just shows what a big mistake he made pulling the N8 in the first place,an shows he does have some relationship with Samsung
