I installed Fring on N8. but it is not connecting to the network.May i know why?

hi,bro..
I need a help frm u..my n8 is hanging nowadays quite frequently while surfing d net..plz tell me wht i hav 2 do to fix dis problm..there is also a purple tint appearing while opening a page..n its happning fr past 4-7 days! Plz give me advice wht to do? Plus i havnt upgraded m fone to anna yet..!
P.s. I wnt to gift m sis a nokia fone nd she wants n97 mini..so cn u tell me is it gud r nt ? coz i hav no idea..

Because the developers of Skype do not care about Symbian anymore so probably won't add video calling to Symbian phones. There main focus is with the more modern and popular operating systems such as Android.

As good as the N8's camera is it does have it's limitations. Mainly, it's not as good as it could be when taking photos at night. The problem is the Xenon flash and the fact that it is too close to the cameras lens. You've probably noticed quite a lot of your photos of people when using the flash have a lot of red-eye. Once again, this is caused by the flash being too close to the lens.
Other issues with the camera when taking night shots are milky and washed out images plus white spots. This can be as a result of humid conditions or a dry and dusty atmosphere where the light from the flash reflects directly back into the lens (because the flash is too close to the lens).
In conclusion then, Nokia made a mistake using a Xenon flash on a camera phone. It should have been a dual LED.

Your not the only one . My N8 Also does the same restarts, Hangs netwrok issues etc. Nokia cant do much they will only replace the mother board for you . All the time .My phones mother board has been replaced twice alreadyy. Good Luck in finding a solution. Nokia will not help .

Guys who have flashed their N8 with the navifirm official belle, Can you please post the link to step by step guide that you have followed to flash the N8. (Also revert back procedure to anna in case something goes wrong.)
Im really sick waiting for official belle release and im also facing the weired bug in the anna (No screen light on incoming and outgoing calls.) which Nokia induced when i went to Nokia care for some other problem.

To update to symbian Anna thru software update in ur device, yu gota 1st update one Nokia application there too b4 yu update Anna.
