THe Nokia N95-3 is so brilliant to use an theres no complaint at all about the battery life on this mobile 2-3 days without charging the build is alot more solid than my first N95 an the back is a big improvement its got no camera cover but the fascia is made like in a cushioned soft material in Black,i went into my nearest Vodafone shop to have a look at the Black N95 with 8gb of memory an i do not like the front buttons on the front of the Black one an the screens only about 2mm bigger but the back is same as the my N95-3 so i will glad i bought this one instead of the Black one,so anyone who wants a more solid an reliable N95 get the N95-3 its just shows you this it what Nokia should have released in the first place to please its customers as the first batch of N95s were not right to be released by Nokia
The N95 is a very stable h/set provided you purchase a SIM free one - Network operator software which is what causes the phone to reset on occasion
Yes you can use any phone battery in this phone. Nokia made it so that it is compatible with all of their phones batteries. And also Samsung batteries. I would suggest using the 3100 battery as it is so cheap to buy nowdays.
its very cheap in usa and other countries but in Pakistan it is very expansive
can i use high power battery in this phone please tell me which battery is perfect with this set?
Don't listen to nEw@ below, they don't know what they are talking about.
N95-3 DOES NOT MEAN both N95 and N93.
The N95-3 is the redesigned US version of the N95.
The N95 that we are commenting on, which is the N95-1, the original Euro-Asia version.
The N95-3 has nothing to do with the N93.
Here is a picture of them next to each other [N95-3 on the left and N95-1 on the right]:
The N95-3 has American 3G bands, while the N95-1 [the original N95] has the Euro-Asia 3G band.
hey guys, pls. answer this question: can N-gage games be used on the N95 or it can only be used in the new N95 8gb handsets? hope someone answers.. tnx!
I am thinking about getting the N95. Can anyone give me an honest account on how good the N95 is? Do you recomend actually getting one or stay well away?
Awesome handset i've ever seen in my life,m hving great fun using 5mp cam & gps, guys if any1 wants to upgrade then go for n95
does any body know , where i can get a phone that can support voice reminders on the calender on a specific day.
n95 is what computers have become, crashing all the time, same battery life as a laptop, big bulky and would smash to bits if dropped
And by the way i loved the n95 wen i first got it and praised it highly and glad for nokia in what they attempted what i mean is they should have given a laymen a go of it then let the bad things about the fone be reported back.I really went on about this fone and was adjusting it to look like n95 8gb like andy burgin but things got seriously worse at the three month mark,,the slider got so loose it was scary and it crashed and crashed and battery was pathetic so got a 1350 ma version but this stuck out alot a started blisters on my hand but its still a landmark unit just glad to be rid of it,they have got to sort out symbian and battery life,,remember ive gone to samsung g600 but samsung got blasted when they brought out the q1 umpc for its poor battery life but answer this question how do s/e get so much out of the same battery ??? It can only be better electronics that are more efficient
on some fones you have 3 choices
dual mode allows both gsm and 3g to be activated at same time so if you travel out of 3g zone you can use the gsm network,,unfortunatly this takes its toll on the battery as in uk most of the time its gsm only and the device constantly searches for the faster 3g network and doing this drains battery fast ,so most people lock their fones or select gsm to stop this happening therefore saving battery life.
Cell info here in uk activates the dialling code for that particular cell you are in ,say lancashire 01227 is one dialling preface for that county but as you travel into cheshire you have different dialling code so a different number will be on your home screen. Its because you may have a number for that area but you need to put a dialling code infront of that number to get correct number so how can you get this dialling code well the local cell gives out this info so you know that where you are now uses that code hence cell info..sometimes it offers updated info for that particular cell area as well such as traffic roadworks,,announcements and news but ive never got this to work you get a list of channels to activate and was heavily featured in my sharp gx30.
