[deleted post]Guaranteed to only happen with Nokia phones. Last week we had to endure the terrible dual sim Nokia.
dee, 14 Oct 2010Had Nokias for the past 10 years, but will NEVER buy Nokia again. Arrogant company selling ... moreAre you sure you mean Nokia and not Apple? Maybe buy more expensive phones and enjoy better quality and support? If you pay 100 bucks you should expect 100 bucks worth, not more not less. And by today's standards, that's not much, equivalent of two meals in a restaurant. That's like one date. Pretty silly to complain about smth like that.
The review IMHO is a biased a bit. It doesnt mention the following problems with the phone which "many" people had:
- Terrible battery life.
- Messaging bug which hangs your phone (not fixable with 4.80)
- Camera has a purplish tint at the centre of photos. (I noticed this in Nokia C5 too)
- The most important issue with this phone - It take 4 hours to charge!!
- A bit too bright screen which distracts you at night use - No option to decrease brightness.
Had Nokias for the past 10 years, but will NEVER buy Nokia again.
Arrogant company selling yesterday phones with miserable support.
Nice to a review of phones that most can afford. I'm truly bored of all the identical looking touchscreen phones. There mostly toys.
I continue to be amazed by GSMarena's negativity towards the S40 photo browser solutions. I found S40 photo browser meet my needs while most other solutions have a fatal flaw of not preserving folder structure.
I start with carefully sorted photos in labeled folders & they re-order them. I DO NOT WANT naked pictures of my ex-girl friend to be shown adjacent those of my extended family children. If a photo browser has this feature that phone is useless to me. unfortunatly, most GSMarena reviews do not really tell me if the photo browser has this fatal flaw. S40 has always supported displaying my photo albums.
am I alone in having some content in my phone that must
Very nice, that GSMarena are reviewing cheaper phones too, hopefully one of the following reviews will be about SE Cedar, one of Nokia X2-s main competitors...
heru00, 14 Oct 2010wrong pics??? or Wrong places???ok!!! pics are fix now!!!
"Nokia X2 is one of the quieter phones we have recorded in our audio quality test. However it makes up for that with rather clean output both with and without headphones attached"
I thought they just said the phone was very loud ????
This phone maybe boring but it sells like hotcakes. It brings music to poor people.
