Samsung Android Firmware Updates

A couple of days ago Samsung shared a roadmap for the release of the stable version of Android 10 in Israel. Now the company has revealed its plans for the rollout of the latest version of Android in China and India.

The first batch of smartphones to receive Android 10 in China will be the Galaxy S10 trio, which will be updated in January 2020. Later in February, the company will release the update for the Galaxy A40s, Note9, Note10, and Note10+ 5G.

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ will get a taste of Android 10 in March, and the company will continue the rollout for the rest of its devices until October 2020. However, Samsung's 2017 flagships - Note8, S8, and S8+ - won't be updated to Android 10.

All J series in the list are from 2018 and were shipped with Android 8. Your Samsung Galaxy J7 Max is from 2017 (3 year old), i wouldn't expect Android 10.
