Anonymous, 14 Nov 2015why apple.. a logical person will recommend moving to the the j5 or redmi 2Why J5 or redmi 2 ???
Both have same hardware Snapdragon 410 as in Grand prime ...So they will perform same
But a logical person will recommend Grand prime over J5 and redmi 2 because
1. Redmi is China , small 4.7 inch display
2. J5 don't have Compass sensor for GPS navigation which Grand Prime have .
I love the battery life of this phone. Get me through 2 days with average usage. Works well with my smartwatch too.
I have the phone and love the camera and the size but it gets hot and freezes at times but other that that it's a OK phone to me

It has only been a couple of months since I bought this phone & it's tap and hold function isn't working already. Further, to delete a sentence I need to tap backspace as many times as many characters are there in it unlike before when i could delete the entire line in one go. It's really disappointing.
I bought THIS PHONE thinking it would be good becase of all the good reviews, Turns out its a piece of shit that will drive you MAD! The first problem is that it lags like crazy, I haven't packed it full of massive apps, just the ones I need. It just lags non stop. The second problem is its constantly trying to update every f**kn app! The third problem is it keeps freezing and when it dose it won't even turn off. The list of problems go's on an on but I don't have time to list every one. My advice move to apple, there phones actually work
jeff, 13 Nov 2015how did you update the phone??go to the settings, at the bottom you have about the device, go there and then update software, wait until update is finished, phone will restart, and that's it !! :))
IBGM, 14 Nov 2015Worst phone ever!why do you think that ?! I have mine for about two weeks, it works perfectly, except when i was install a lot of applications, one by one, and then delete them, camera has started to freezing, but after restore it works normally !! Now I have only four useful apps that I like ( navigation maps, antivirus, viber and lamp) I think that freezing is generally the fault of android phones, or in my case was a small RAM memory......who knows.... but grand prime is great !!
I usually don't post any comment unless I want to ask for some advice or whenever something really pisses me off like the experience I've lived with this phone. Yes, it has a good camera, good battery life, and yes, it is a mid-range phone. When it comes to daily usage, -what a headache-, the phone hangs and lags A LOT. Whenever I switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi -or viceversa-, I have to restart the device, otherwise it will take a year to open an app. It has very bad Wi-Fi signal reception. My girlfriend's Huawei Y300 gets 3x better Wi-Fi signal. It has tons of useless pre-installed apps which you can't uninstall but disable (which eats up your RAM, as if it had enough), anyway Samsung and its bloatware. I wouldn't recommend you to buy this phone unless you are an 80-year-old person who just make a couple of calls and some text daily. What a nigthmare this phone is! Crazy!
WORST PHONE EVER!!!
I usually don't post any comment unless I need some advice or when something pisses me off as hell like the experience I've had with this phone. Yes, it is a mid-range, it has a great camera and a good battery life. But it's too slooow and hangs A LOT. Whenever I switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi -or viceversa-, I have to restart the device, otherwise, it will take a year to open any app. Another thing, when it comes to Wi-Fi signal reception, it is bad, compared with my girlfriend's Huawei P7, which has around 3x better signal reception. It has tons of useless pre-installed apps, which you can't uninstall but disable. Anyway, Samsung and its bloatware. IMO, this phone is targeted for very very very soft users, such as 80-year-old people who place a couple of calls or text often. DO NOT GET THIS!
