Battery bank still needs to be recharge at home, so you can use it again the following day, it would be the same scenario with an extra battery pack charging at home using a separate compatible battery charger.
AnonD-67893, 09 Feb 2014I did it, but as you see the option "Hide Apllications" here on this https://db.tt/B... moreThat "Hide applications" is only available in Android JB 4.1
Higher than Android JB 4.1 no longer supports that feature.
A Geek, 09 Feb 2014Sure using a second battery isn't a thing that just a geek can do,but how many people use a ... moreMake a survey. Nobody talks about it. Battery kits are being sold everywhere. You mostly see power banks being used because of iPhone users and other users of uni-bodied devices. You think carrying a power bank is way more efficient? State reasons that make sense.
I'm one who use this more practical method of changing batteries when needed, and charging the spent one at home. What's complicated about that?
I've already enumerated 10 good reasons for a removable battery system, and I've given the small number of advantages of a fixed battery system. Can you name more?
Is this eating you up since you are an Xperia user who is justifying the constant usage of a power bank to keep your Sony Xperia device alive daily?

You can use third party app from playstore "Brightest Flash". Because inbuilt flashlight widget is optimised to save battery when flashlight used for long periods.

All the apps work just fine dont need factory reset. Why people keep saying the update have a issue? Do you guys had a note 3 or you just messin arround?

beppie, 09 Feb 2014am on lte too... download is fast on other apps except for utorrent.
do u have an apps whe... moreIt reality depends on your service. The telco can limit your service speeds and at times allow it down after a certain data amount.
Utorrent works fine, and I can get 600kbps to over 1mbps per title. I've just consumed over 80GB of data for over a period of 3 weeks.
Unfortunately, the Note 3 does not have a lock to LTE only option. You can use LTE Discovery app and its paid version automates cycling to LTE.

Note 3 flashlight have very low brightness nad intensity compared to note 2. On note 2 is like 3x better.
TheNeighbor, 07 Feb 2014You said, "Removable batteries are for geeks." twice.
While you sport carrying a... more-1&3:you say it's not sufficient, and has shorter life. The phone shows when it's battery reaches 100% doesn't it?so that less battery life seems not reasonable.Or if you meant power bank has shorter battery life, you can imagine it is 9000MAs instead of 10000,or it takes longer time to charge.still it has 3-4 times bigger capacity than a second battery.
-Heavy extra battery that has relatively more capacity.if you have problem with it there are battery banks with less capacity.
I think battery bank is much better in shape than a mobile battery.also it works with different gadgets.
-2:funniest statement ever heard. If you think so you shouldn't charge your phone because if you use it's micro USB port,it maybe gets damaged.hahahaha.
-5:Just some second to change battery?then how does it get charged itself???you have to put it in your phone at home to get charged separately.that means you have to charge your main battery at home to 100% then bring it out and put second one in the phone and wait till it gets 100% too!Thats a nightmare ! ! ! but power bank is just a independent accessory, and you can use it seperately. If second battery provides saves you some time outdoor,it wastes you some at home cause you should put it in charge and not using it to get full charged,so it gets useless at home. Its the second time I explained it for you but seems your eyes are closed not seeing it.
So you can see all of things you mentioned as disadvantages are actually advantages.Reamovable batterys just makes phones production cheaper so that your dear Sammy makes more money. And Sammy paid trolls are only one s who appreciate it.
TheNeighbor, 09 Feb 2014It's the service you have that's slow. I get up to 2mbps with my LTE service. am on lte too... download is fast on other apps except for utorrent.
do u have an apps where I can see speed of lte in my area? thanks
its actually the best in the market so far. satisfied
I just have a little bit of problem when downloading stuff..its soooo slow...
but all in all.... genius!
AnonD-67893, 09 Feb 2014I did it, but as you see the option "Hide Apllications" here on this https://db.tt/B... moreOh, I didn't use Hide Apps function as I don't share my device. I can see how useful it is for security.
I have been using this phone for the last four months and let me tell you the experience is really satisfying indeed, its really fast and responsive and i absolutely love the battery life .it takes about a week to get use to and to know the shortcuts but once you are done you will not even think of buying another phone for sometime . Note 3 Rocks !
Tcool, 09 Feb 2014Do the same steps as in Note 2 :)I did it, but as you see the option "Hide Apllications" here on this https://db.tt/BGKrAwiX screenshot. It's missing on Note 3. I need this to hide some apps from toddlers. By this I don't mean to uninstall.
I know I can use third party launchers to avail this. But I like stock touchwiz.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
TheNeighbor, 09 Feb 2014What Do you mean by "hide apps", or might you mean uninstall systems apps? Please check this https://db.tt/BGKrAwiX
This option is exist on s4 mini also..
