AnonD-53316, 18 Dec 2013This problem is solved in Note 3,They have Smart Stabilisation option which automatically adju... moreI bet yes! cause its the mighty note3 the hadware on that is the best available on market till date ...however i dropped buying it cause i want the sd800 version of note3 and on top of that if it wud have been the dual sim version available in china it wud be a icing on the cake but i guess in india samsung had to settle for the exynos version lacks the 4k recording better battery back up and i have doubts abt the octa core idea in general .this is not to say that it is weak....and the gpu on sd800 is aderno 330 and compaired to exynos version its more powerfull and obviously the sd800 versions wud be used a lot globally so the devloper support wud be more for sd800 and adreno 330 gpu hopefully the s5 or possibly the note4 wud address this ...most importantly samsung wud sud make them available in india...till then i am enjoying note2 it certainly is powerfull and future proof device.and is upgradable to few more major android updates and ..i still love the SAMOLED on it and love the deep blacks ....cause when i see my friends xperia z screen or as a matter of fact any LCD screen on a cellphone the blacks looks washedout and on note 2 the 4.3 update also increased the brightness and improved the screen quality overall and guys who will recently upgrade to 4.3 wud see this diffrence first. And after 3 to 4 months i am planning to root it and use diffrent ROMS there r even ROMS available for note2 along with some unique note3 features..

Its Mid December 2013, and I want to buy a handset around INR 25-30k.
Note 2 is a good option, but can anyone recommend any other option in this price range, as I feel Note 2 is quite outdated and wont support future games and technology.
Please help should I go with Note 2, as my main use is watching movies, mini games and browsing.

rest the light sensor & lowest brightness manually ...it give me better battery life.
Yes, I tried many camera app but no one is better than stock.
anyway I m enjoing my note 2 other than low light photography. thanq

AnonD-22824, 18 Dec 2013The best u can do is to enable night mode in the stock camera and adjust other settings , i ha... moreThis problem is solved in Note 3,They have Smart Stabilisation option which automatically adjusts camera in low light to give you brighter, clearer pictures without the flash. It applies only in Image mode not on video recording, but it gives really good low light pictures.

I do not use any battery app or anti virus cause my exerience with them was most of the times gimmiky however when i was rooted i use to love a greenify app to save battery however i uninstalled that as well since i updated to 4.3 the battery back up is best ...i had done a factory reset obviously i had back up of all my data , contacts, messages , calllogs and almost everything, had to factory reset cause i was rooted no ota or kies upgrade for me so i downloaded the entire 1.15 gb stock firmware for my country india and flashed it through odin ...this also unrooted my phone and fixed my screen mirroring and bluetooth voice issue with my dell bluetooth headset for music..

ANOTHE... moreAuto brightness use the ambiant light sensor on ur phone and that sensor obviously works on ur battery it will help u most of the times only if u r indoors a lot cause it will reduce the brightness automatically when u do not need high brightness however it is a good idea to disable auto brightness outdoors cause that will result in ur screen brightness to the fullest and on top of that the auto brightness sensor is also working at the same time so obviously ur battery will go down quickly...hope this helps as well ..enjoy.

ANOTHE... moreThe best u can do is to enable night mode in the stock camera and adjust other settings , i have taken lots of good quality low light pics with note2 however keep the flash on and try to maintain a close distense from the object and obviously u wont shoot landscapes in the night and try not to shake ur hands otherwise u wud get blurry pics yes the lack of ois asks u to be a little stable while shooting however u wont find any best camera app than ur stock camera app...unless u have a bug in ur stock camera.u can try lots of camera app on market but u will go back to the stock camera app ...i think thats cause the stock camera app is well intigrated with the camera sensor..hope this helped ..enjoy...

AnonD-139763, 18 Dec 2013yea i did do something similar bro. i went to play store and to the app and they directed m... moreCheck in the case of other apps such as mail, whatsapp also, I think this is an issue with 4.3, I was facing this on Note 2 and also on Note 3, Clicking on Notification does not unlocks the phone and takes you app, but when you manually unlocks the phone, the facebook is opened. One more thing, when we clear the notifications by swiping them right, the notification bar does not closes itself when all the notifications are cleared. If notifications are cleared by pressing clear, notifiation bar closes itself.

If ur earpiece has problem with ur phone but if there's no problem found in earpiece when u connected to the other Samsung device, then the problem is in ur phone ( software/hardware) .
1. u can factory reset !
2. U can root the device !
3. U can visit the private repair centre or may be any Samsung shop to talk with them about this problem, they can guide u or at least they can can give u some idea !
