My friend bought S5 mini and I compared it to my S4 mini. I must say my S4 mini i9195 (black edition) looks much better. At least to me. It also runs Real racing 3 better. For some unknown reason that game doesn't run as smooth on S5 mini. Also S5 mini uses much more RAM. U close all apps - my RAM in use drops down to 500mb and his on 970mb... Even freezing some apps didn't help. But the UI is smooth, browsing is good. I think since it is a new phone the software for the MALI 400MP4 GPU is not yet optimized. Probably some future update will fix this. Antutu score S4 mini: 22000 S5 mini: 19000

Chili, 06 Sep 20148 MP primary camera in 2014, Samsung really?What would you need more than 8Mpx for except maybe for digital zooming? Features such as quality of the optics and image processing, exposure control and metering, focus control, dynamic range and low light performance are more important. I am not saying the phone excels in them all. The phone can not even set the exposure value according to my choise. The spot metering mode is oversimplified. Something could be improved by software updates.

AnonD-307252, 14 Sep 2014i think samsung dont want to be brand leader in the market because many other brands providing... morethey think they sell some good quality items like apple, therefor they put the same specs like iphone 6 exactly, and think they can sell it for a high price, these specs is shit in the android market, therefor z3 compact would be the best mini smartphone in the android market.

Lol same specs like the small version of the iphone 6, would definitly get the z3 compact it much better in specs

i think samsung dont want to be brand leader in the market because many other brands providing more specification in less price,why dont samsung do the same customer switching to other brands.

Speaker has low sound volume. USB OTG not available. Camera only average...
It is just a low/middle range phone nearly the same price of S5. Crazy !

S5 mini is nt worth to its money...in the name of brand sake they are snatching money frm customers.......Better u go for moto 2nd gen or xiaomi mi3 these r far better than s5and s5 mini..

Samsung is making fool of people who dont care much about the specification of the phone in terms of Processors and GPU and other features and these people are more dircted by brand and brand misleading adverts for eg S5 mini is more like S3 see the CPU and GPU both almost same 1.4 GHZ and Mali 400MP wow after 3 years again launching the old wine in new bottle and that too in age of competition giving latest configuration and processor and samsung is still give old Quad core with own exnoes processor i am feeling are the buyers stupid or the Samsung is silly its time to take this seriously about overcharging price for old stuff.selling name and brand is not enough samsung give real stuff modern and technological advance.
