I just got this phone yesterday ... I think bad of this phone is there is no camera flash light and as It is at&t you can only install apparently only from the android market.... and Dat is really freaking me out.... Cz PES football is not free in the android market and I love football..... I Dint have a USD credit card ..... I stay in Africa nigeria... Ekpo_v@Hotmail.com

I have Update my captivate to android 2.3.5 now the phone works best same as Galaxy 2, no loading problems....... best skype video calls are too able from behind camera

@nun: Yes, you can do both. I guess you are asking because of past experiences with samsung phones, I know that was an issue. I inform you that all Samsung handsets since '06 can be set to play your own mp3 when you receive a call/message

i bought this phone yesterday and i must admit that i find it very interesting so far. i am going to be honest though that this is my 1st android phone ever so i am pretty new to the android world since i was a nokia fan for years...
so i have a few questions.
how can i get android 2.3 installed
where can i download the best games and apps.
and do you mean when u say rooted
as i said i am pretty new to the android world so please help.

Everything else is great, besides me dr... moreThe loudspeaker problem I solved by actually taking the phone appart and reseating the loudspeaker adding some aluminum foil to the contact. Never had an issue with it again, but now the headphone plug has an issue, it garbles the sound and I have to press hard right on the center in the back of the phone to get back the audio on the headset.

Is it just me or the GPS Navigation is very terrible.
Everything else is great, besides me dropping it and making the loudspeaker not work half the time. :-(
