I just use SE G705 for abut 2 weeks. I found that the battery start got problem.
1st week i use it, with standby mood it can stay for 3 days. but after 1 week++ i got to charge it daily.
Can any one tell me it's my battery got problem??

Elena, 15 Jun 2009Okej..it isn't a touch screen...but what about the other buttons/keys ?? You know. keys like 1... moreabout keypad u must pressing n pushing the keypad..it keypad is not like samsung or lg keypad .

Hmm..Just bought this phone last week, is about RM760. Is consider quite cheap for a phone with Wifi & GPS.
Everything looks find from the beginning but after 3days of usage problems start to appear, like there is few times my phone is right beside my workstation but without anyone calling me (my phone do not even rang!) and I received msg from Maxis saying tat there are few miss call from who who..?? huh? then I tried to call back but failed, i cant even press the button...(=.=). Then..i switch off, take out my sim card, wipe it, put it back and switch on again.(thought is my sim card problem)But still cant make any calls...?? luckily I did not trade in my old phone,tried to use my old phone to make calls, no problem at all!!Tried the sim card back to G705 again then it is back to normal..WTF!!Cause thought of throw back the phone to the dealer.
Now, still cant find out what makes it cant call out,but everything work smooth already...
Battery arr..hmm...previously im using GSM&3G network and battery run out very fast, can only last for 1 day+.But recently i change to GSM network, it can last for 3days+.. thats all i can share, cause the phone is still very new.

I just got this phone 3 days ago, its working as good as expected. It is worth to buy this phone for someone whom needs average WIFI and GPS.
WIFI with almost full featured internet browser, able to surf a webpage properly. But its kind of slow on the phone browser.
But it works well with OPERA MINI, it will smoothen the browsing experience.
GPS works good. You can disable assisted GPS, so it will not cost extra $$ to your phone bill.
But it will still need to access internet through WIFI or its own internet (which needs $) when using google maps or any other maps.
I found a glitch.
When i was playing music on the earphones, my music keeps automatically stop playing due to the front buttons randomly being pressed in my pocket. Which is irritating. Hope sony ericsson could do something about soon. Because when many buttons is pressed, the screen lights up, and stop your music while keypad locked.
Its been 3 days since i got this phone and it started hanging and restart itself since day 2.
Because of some unknown bugs in WIFI and multi-tasking.
I use a lot wifi and multi-task a lot.
Other than that, this phone is perfect for me.

overall dis phone is nice,but it material easy to scratch especially at navigation pad..i dont know why s.e like that..perhaps s.e can improve the material technology..if it material easy to scratch the people doesnt have a feeling to use this phone.

i have use the phone for 6month. everything is running ok. however, sometime it will hang too..
advantage
-nice UI
-simple to use
-loud sound when phone ringing
-wifi
-easy typing keypad
disadvantage
-gps need internet support
-camera no auto focus, so is not that clear when view in pc.
-speaker is not that nice.
-material easy scratch(navigation pad, silver side)
