I bought mine here last August, and after 4 months, it was defective and Sony Ericsson Glorietta 3 advised me that it could no longer be used and that I should buy a new one. Wow so easy for them to say!

nice fone but the keypad is not that good, i bought it for abot 8 mos. and its keypad is starting to tear ..

i bought my G705 5 months ago.that's very nice phone.it give you alot of option such as wi-fi,GPS,3.2mp camera,... but it's very cheap!
it's performance is very good but sometimes it restarts.
that's the best phone on the market becuase it's performance is good and it's very cheap and Beautifull!

hmmm,wat i can tell is owsome but hate the camera.
better if in cyber shot camera...

If you are looking for a compact and light phone with all the features of a business phone, this is the best one on the market. The only one odd is the lack of .doc, .xls, .pdf readers. I am surprised SE is still selling phones without docs readre.

I bought my G705 for RM 675 (I'm a Malaysian) in Jan 2010. Yesterday I went to Giant for shopping, I ask for G705 and the price rose to RM 999. They also said that this phone is no longer in production / waiting for 2010 release.

Nice phone! No! Awesome!! At my place the price for an AP set only rm580 (jan 2010).
I now use it for 1 month and everything is still ok even i've dropped it to the floor several time.
The function is great. The screen quite large.
No problem with my wi-fi.
Can install with java games and softwares.
The media player is nice.
Flash themes.
The battery supports up to 3 days.
But the only problem are the camera not really perfect but still clear and the speaker are too slow but still ok.
Perfect phone for price under rm600 /

kk, 31 Jan 2010it was a perfect phone Be careful about using tenses. "Was" indicates a past event, therefore you assume that G705 is USED TO BE perfect phone. How about NOW?

could somebody please tell me if there is any application like blacklist on this phone? i want to block some phones. in nokia it has a application. but in sony ericsson i don't know. i want blacklist calls
