LOST, 16 Dec 2011HI..Sony ericson xperia ray or lg optimus black?
Does sony ericson heat up easily? No, xperia ray doesn't heat up easily.
You could go for the optimus black which has slightly better hardware but keep in mind that LG is bad with updates and i don't think it'll ever get official ICS update whereas xray will be getting it soon. And also the UI of optimus black is drab.
Hey there everyone. I'd like to help out those who are thinking about buying this phone.
I've been using it for awhile and I must say it's pretty good. Here is what you need to know:
The phone has a beautiful design and one of the best build quality even though it doesn't have an unibody. It doesn't feel cheap at all, rather a premium feel. Some people might be thrown off by the small 3.3" screen, but for me, even though i have big hands, it doesn't get in my way. The screen is as tall as that of the iphone's i guess, so typing in landscape mode is not at all a problem. Very good pixel density, watching videos on it is a joy, despite the small size, since the screen is in 16:9 aspect ratio but i wouldn't suggest watching a movie on it, an episode of your favorite tv show would be okay. Everything looks very crisp, almost as good as the iphone's retina display. You won't be able to differentiate between the two. But, if you are into web browsing, then you should look elsewhere. The screen is just too narrow for proper web browsing. The browser performance is not so fast and zippy but it manages to play 720p flash videos. The camera is very good. No rigorous compression like neo, manages to retain a lot of detail, face detection works flawlessly and the problem with turning the flash on manually isn't a big deal, im sure it'll be dealt with in future updates. The UI is not laggy, pretty smooth so far and lots of eye candy. Limited number of homescreens though. Battery performance is average, not poor. The loudspeaker is pretty good. Lack of internal memory isn't a big deal, all the apps are installed directly onto the sd card. It manages all day to day functions and pretty much all the apps in the android market. If you are on a tight budget or you want a compact droid, then this is the best phone for you. And im telling you again, if you are really into web browsing, then you should go for phones with a bigger screen.
Hope i could help =D

so one thng i wanna ask is d difference between photo light and led flash light in d fone....
I think the phone uses a LED as a flashlight. Its doesn't really flash. Its only always ON or totally off. LIKE A FLASHLIGHT haha.
here are samples of the Xperia w/o the LED flashlight, w/ the LED on a lit room and on a very dark room.
Not the most inspiring subject to shoot, sorry. :>
