i would like to know to how much we can expand the memory of the z550i
1- it doesnt have flight mode or offline mode.
2.opening it with 1 hand isnt easy better word it should open with 2 hands and even closing it.
3.the ringtone loudness from loud speaker is average.
4.its assembling is not that good compare to nokia .
5.and z550 code name is "moli"!
Great value phone. Owned two for the last month, great features, neat design, no flaws yet found. One thing though, if you intend to use this is an MP3 player you should buy a better set of earphones then the ones supplied as standard. They do NOT compare to the level of quality of a good stand alone MP3 player (Creative MuVo). This is NOT a critisism though, just an observation, I never expected them to perform to the same level given the overall low price of the whole package.
hi all people, how r u ? neways who knows if i can change the cover for this cell?? :D:D:D:D:D i would b so happi if u can:D
and which is betta black or copper :D coz i dnt no if it looks nice in real life
im a gurl so wat colour suites me
Thanks for your reply.
1.I believe the fading time of the main display is a big problem (for me) cause if you are reading a lengthy bank account number ,then you are bound to do up and down arrow to keep the diusplay alive.
2.In the call list and all, instead of showing the phoine number together,it shows in a scrolling mode, atleast for me ,is disturbing.
3.Battery/Signal strength is shown only for a short duration in un the external screen .after that only clock remains.
You can't adjust any of those settings through the phone, but the signal and battery strength should automatically be displayed on the outer screen.
Can somebody tell me how to
1.Increase the fading time of the main display when phone is in open state?
2.Adjust the font size of the numbers/text messages?
3.Any way to increase brighness of the xternel clock displayed?
4.Is there any way to display the battery/signal strength is the external display?
Thanks in Advance
You can't change the cover, but there would be no need to. The phone looks great as it is.
if anyone could plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz tell me if i can change the cover i would b so happy PLzzzz reply anyone reply
lluv ya bai
Sorry mate. Can't find an app, and I'm not usually a heavy use of mobile apps as well, so I don't really know where to search.
the z550 display quality is really better than k750 and im satisfied by its camrea.. take verygood photos in good lighting ,but in poor lighting it has noise.
Sharlion, Can you give me some apllication(Java) that can preview, zoom, makes slide show, rotate, beside the original one(Photo editor)? thx btw.
Just got this phone a week ago. the body is metal look. It sounds quality is not too loud, but the buzzer produce solid sound. Display is the same as K750i& W800i, but this phone brightness is 50% up compared with K750i. In it's package, I got earphone(the same model with K750i), Li-Polymer battery, and standard charger. One of the weakness is the camera. It produce poor quality picture in low lighting area(Even you adjust "With ballance" up to 2.0). it works the same with the video quality. while NOKIA & other competitor tried to improved their Video Quality(MP4, 30 fps, VGA size), Sony still retain with this primitive style(176 X 144 , 3gpp). What's wrong Sony?
Overall, this phone is reasonable to buy coz the feature & price is equal. the last, z550 case is verryyyyy coool man.....
Well, I'm not an expert on wb browsing on phones, but XHTML and HTMl are pretty much the same, just a lot of techincal stuff really. There really isn't much of a difference between the two, but the Z550's web browser is better in my opinion. This and the much better screen contribute to this.
The manual days it contains Full HTML browsing. Is it different from XHTML browsers what Nokia phone(6125) contains?Thankx in advance
Mine takes around 24 seconds to boot up, and 5 seconds to shut down.
It cannot record radio, but it has RDS. And it support USB charging.
Also, the vibration is quite strong and the battery is pretty good. Not as bad as what some people say.
good reviews by shaliron and kangen.. how much time do ur phones take to boot up from turning it on up to standby?tnx
Very nice phone. Had it for a few days now. Much nicer in real life, so if you are a bit off put by the looks, go see it in real life.
Keypad is easy to use. It's flat but the keys are nicely separated so there should be no problems. Backlighting is very even as well. It's a nice blue colour.
You do get fingerprints round the screen and where the camera is, but no biggy.
Software is working great. No bugs or restarts. The menu doesn't lag at all and the animation is smooth and enjoyable. The thees are nice and varied as well.
External screen is very nice. Clear and looks cool as well. A lot of information for such a small screen. Internal screen is very good as well. And you can see it well in full sunlight.
Reception is a bit patchy (2 bars) if you put your finger over where the antenna, only if you are in an area with weaker reception though. Maybe I'm used to the reception in the old Nokias [which were indestructible those were the days)]. Otherwise it's above average.
A lot of extras as well. Facewarp is quite fun. Music, Video and PhotoDJ are all at your disposal as well. Bluetooth works fine.
You can also minimize apps (games, radio, music player etc.) with the activity button as well.
Radio is loud and clear and so is the music player. NOTE: You cannot use the radio instantly without the headphones plugged, just like any other phone radio. The phones uses the wires of the headphones as the arial, that's why. But once you've got the headphones plugged in, you can set it to play through the speaker, so no worries. And the speaker can get quite loud as well.
Camera is decent. What you'd expect from a mobile I guess.
Ringtones can be loud, it just depends on what tone you set it. Some mp3 files themselves are a bit softer so that's why there's a smaller sound I think.
Very good phone for the price. Nothing I can complain about apart from the lack of an included USB cable or memory card, but at the price I paid for it, you wouldn't expect any extras apart from the phone. No other manufacturer would give one to you at this price! I'm very happy with the included headphones which was quite generous to use with the radio.
If there's any questions, just ask me :)
according to this site the latest firmware is R6BA034.. has anyone upgraded?
