None between HTC ONE end SG SIV comes with IP55 and IP 57 certification. Both the phone is bot that much sleek and premium looking. S IV rumoured to have a plastic back. People will pay 50k to take a plastic back phone. No this is not gonna be done

I'm sure this year main battle between HTC One vs Samsung Galaxy S4. I won't think Xperia able to give good competition with these two. Xperia easily can beat HTC Butterfly but nothing compared to the HYV One.
Slash Gear Review:
They pointed out some good points of the XZ' design and then:
"...but itís questionable whether the target audience for the Xperia Z Ė power users lured in by the display and processing horsepower Ė will really benefit from Battery STAMINA. Itís only effective when the display is off, after all, and those who want to actually use their phone arenít unlikely to leave it sufficiently idle for it to make its mark. True, if you treat the Xperia Z with kid gloves and use it more sparingly, you can eke out a full day from a single charge, but that seems somewhat counter-intuitive for a flagship device.
...Itís the battery that gives us the biggest pause for thought. The Xperia Z simply expires too quickly, and the power saving tools Sony has provided only really work at their best by discouraging you from using the phone at all. Given the waterproofing (and dimensions) means the battery is non-removable, thatís quite a compromise to be made."
It really needs to be charged half way during the day by plugging in or with a power bank, or hardly use this beast to conserve battery.
Htc one is so going to kill it. Hope sony manages to sell some before it's released (:
For those who are commenting one the display angles...how abt this...you are veiwing your personal stuff and somebodys getting a clear and crispier view of ur personal things..?? wont that hurt...so if u are getting direct angles clearer and crisper for ur personal usage thats what matters not the side and different angles..and those who are using smartphones...how many of u have viewed ur cellphone from many angles...i dont think so any1 had...
Only a few more days to wait! Mine should arrive dressed in White by Friday, hopefully! It has been a long wait........Nice!!

The Xperia T has 1850mah battery and lasts me a full day and a half so doubt I will have an issue with the Xperia Z and if i thought it was not likely to meet my expectations, I would not be bleating about it on here! Jeez

Sony should get back on removable batteries at least. They read our feedback.
You don't tell us what your day job is, why should I tell you my job schedule? Stop attacking based on your quirks about people who actually have time to do this over mobile Internet.
Superfly, 24 Feb 2013yeah why dont you post a pic of your note 2 with todays news paper cause i doubt you even own one.You can read my posts with links to pictures, videos and what I've been doing to modify and improve the Note II on GA for the past month:
You can even find my links there to XDA Developers threads. Mr. Anonymous m7KR has been a disgruntled Note II owner and about to be a hipster XZ owner.
[deleted post]So why did you buy spare battery if you can't change battery, and may i remind you that is already past 5 am, is almost 7am, and you should be at work till 10pm so we don't expect you to post for many many hours now. And you will not be missed.
Anonymous, 24 Feb 2013I didnt get mine yet but i seen from other ppls experiences.
Speaker Quality, its tiny and... moreThe XZ drains 4 to 5 hours according to reviews by Engadget and other UK review sites. That's at 50% screen brightness.
You mentioned draining the Note II battery less than 6 hours with gaming at 100% brightness. You failed to mention that it reaches at least 8 hours of surfing at 100% brightness. At 50% brightness, it can go 8 hours of surfing and still have 20% left.
What I'm driving at and would be the purpose of these forums is that Sony would improve on integrating bigger batteries. I was a solid Sony Ericsson /Sony consumer for 10 years. I've had 5 different mobile phones they made. I stopped because they didn't improve in their battery longevity.

Daniyal Jatoi, 24 Feb 2013Ok, Post about
Battery Drain Ratio
Camera Indoor/Outdoor Qual... moreI didnt get mine yet but i seen from other ppls experiences.
Speaker Quality, its tiny and not load but sound is clear.
Talk Time, very good.
Battery Drain Ratio, not great with display on, we are talking around 5 hours. I can however drain down the battery of my Note 2 in less than 6 hours when gaming at high brightness, this is something i have to test when i receive my Z.
Camera Indoor/Outdoor Quality, in ph.arena it was the best at indoor shots, beat both ip5, sgs3, and lumia920. Also saw it beat the Htc One in indoor shots (and i also saw the ip5 beat One indoors in low light). Outdoor: All flagships do well in perfect light, its not when its easy to take a photo we need max performance, its in the challenging conditions we can separate the men from the mice.
Lags, in the review at engadget they mentioned lags in some cases, read more there.
Display Quality/Touch Quality, the display is being discussed a lot. Touch sensitivity is good afaik.
Ability of Being Waterproof, this has been proven too many times, theres no doubt its very waterproof and extremely durable. Best build quality phone by far, some of the videos are very convincing, and drop tests are not only done by reviewers, but also sony representatives, you dont see people from apple, htc and samsung dropping their phones, only sony has the confidence to do such a thing.
Full score at build and performance, great score at most other things, in average no other phone can beat it, esp not the Htc One (for me it got too small display in any case, and some like it small)
Ok, Post about
Battery Drain Ratio
Camera Indoor/Outdoor Quality
Display Quality/Touch Quality
Ability of Being Waterproof
Waiting for answers from anyone willing to answer after using the handset properly.
